Previously:

I'll see you guys soon again. Be prepared to get annoyed by me.", I said to them all and they chuckled. Mahi bhai patted my head and Jaddu bhai said "gladly!".

I even exchanged numbers with a few of them and then they all left leaving me and Shardul alone.

Mahira's POV:

"So how was your day?", He asked me.

"The best. Yours?", I was very happy.

"Could have been better!", He said. Ik he was sad because they didn't win

"It's okay shardul. You have the entire tournament ahead of you.", I said patting his shoulders.

"Hmm!" He smiled. And I tried to lighten his mood a bit.

"Achha waise , why do people call you lord?", I asked giggling. And he too started laughing.

"Tell me also when you get to know!", He said to me. And we both were just laughing.

"Enough about me , tell me about you. You said you have travelled to countries alone. What was that about?", He asked me and my eyes lit up.

"I have. I have literally travelled to so many countries alone. Travelling is my passion. It's what has been my driving force all my life and still it is.", I said, the memories of my previous trips clouding my mind.

"Where all have you travelled to?", He asked me and I could see he was interested.

"A lot of places, USA, London, Vietnam, Iceland, Finland, Brazil, Denmark, I have done my masters in Germany, France , Italy, Tanzania.....", I was saying and he cut me off.

"All alone?", He asked me. And he was looking deep into my eyes now.

"No, Iceland I went with my family. USA me I have family. So I stayed at their place for some time. Tanzania with my family. And a few other places as well in India. But international travelling I mostly do alone.", I replied.

"Why?" , He asked me.

"Arey, travelling is easy without having to look after someone. And their schedule don't match with me. We have to plan for months if we want to go on family trips. Akele to I plan very spontaneously. Bohot unexpected trips pe chali jati hoon main.", I said with a sheepish smile.

"I would love to listen to your stories. Must be many!", He said.

"And I would love to tell you.", I said bowing down.

His driver arrived and we went inside the car. He opened the door for me like a gentleman and got in after me.

"So where have you travelled to in India?", His questions continued.

"Kerala is my favourite in India. Followed by Himachal. Then Kashmir. North east ke some parts. Maharastra me to I'm staying only!", I began counting on my fingers.

"You're an overachiever seriously. You know even I love travelling. But can't travel peacefully without being papped in India.", He said with a sad smile.

"Aww! But now you have a mask!", I said.

"And covid." He replied making me go mum.

"Achha anything else that you want to do in India? From your bucket list?", He asked me and I was wondering why is he so interested.

"Actually yes. I want to go camping in Kutch, Gujarat. And then I also want to do scuba diving in Lakshadweep. Actually it's a never ending list.", I said looking here and there.
