Mahira's POV:
I was sitting outside the room and the nervousness was killing me, I so wanted to know what they were talking about.
"Mahira, itna to main apni shadi me bhi nervous nahi thi.", Bhabhi said shaking her head.
"Bhabhi bhai kya baat kar rahe honge?", I said and she headpalmed herself.
"Terms and conditions most probably.", She said. Hmmm true.
Suddenly the door opened and they both walked out laughing."Kya kaha mahi ne?", Bhabhi asked rishab.
"Men talk.", Mahi bhai sais with a smirk. And he and rishab hi fived each other.
Rishab's POV:
I could see the nervousness in her eyes when we came out. But then soon she relaxed.
"Aapne daata nahi na ise?", Mahira asked bhai, very very cutely. My heart 🥺.
"Oye, batao ise.", Bhai turned to me.
"No mahira, he didn't scold me.", I said and she smiled widely.
"I knew my bro is the bestest.", She said and mahi bhai kissed her forehead. I have never seen mahi bhai so soft towards anyone other than ziva, but he did mention that he loves her so much.
"Shall we all go out for dinner in the evening?", Bhabhi suggested.
"Great idea bhabhi. I'll just book reservations now ki koi disturb na kare hume.", Mahira chirped.
"Done!", Mahi bhai said. It was such a bliss moment for me.
Time skip:
It was after lunch and everyone was resting in there rooms. I went to Mahira's room and saw that she was lying on her bed, reading something
"Can I come?", I asked her and she nodded with the prettiest smile.
"I was about to call you.", She said and that made me happy. I went and sat beside her.
"Kuch baat karni thi?", I asked and she nodded, raising the blanket for me to get inside. I laid down beside her.
"Rishu, what if your mom doesn't like me?", She asked me very seriously.
"Impossible!", I said turning to face her.
"I mean unke bhi kuch expectations honge na ki meri daughter in law aisi ho. What if I'm not like that?", She said with a frown.
I completely understand how she is feeling, and I'll not rest until she is assured that my mom will never not like her."Come here!", I said and shifted closer to me. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and she rested her head on my arms.
"Listen, I completely understand what you are feeling and trust me I'm feeling the same. In the back of my head mujhe bhi ye thought bohot trouble kar raha hai ki will your parents like me or not? But for now I know you like me, and that's enough.
Aur jaha tak baat hai meri mummy ki, I know her well enough Mahira, she will love you, aur aise bhi koi mentally stable insan kabhi tumhe dislike kar hi nahi sakta, I mean have you ever met yourself? You're the best example of the phrase 'god couldn't be everywhere so he created angels like you'.", I finished speaking and realised that all the while she had been looking at me so intensely without saying a word."Say something!", I said looking at her, did I say a lot?
"Kya bolun, you've rendered me speechless.", She said. Wow. For someone who speaks so much that was a whole some statement.
