It was one day before the wedding, the day of Sangeet function, and everyone was well prepared to sprinkle bollywood masala in germany, with two mainstream bollywood actresses accompanying the lot, they were sure of a fun and successful evening.
Everyone was well prepared with their dance and speeches, unbeknownst to either Rishab or Mahira. They were in a slight oblivion of what's to come in the evening, a lot of surprises awaited them, Mahira was too busy all day to even prepare for her dance performance as she was personally looking after every little details of preparation, and Rishab, well, he just followed her like a puppy wherever she went.
After getting tired of listening to the instructions that his Perfectionist wife was giving out to everyone, Rishab took a glass of water and sat down with a sigh, only to be disturbed by Anushka.
"Where is your wife?", Anushka asked him and Rishab blushed at that, this will be a reality very soon, anushka noticed that blush on his face and shook her head in disbelief before running away from there, Rishab didn't answer her, there she saw Sakshi talking to Mahira already, and she went to her too.
"Oye! Ye sab dekhne ke liye itne log hai, tu ja na atleast prepare for one performance.", Anushka said as she walked up to the duo
"That's exactly what I am saying.", Sakshi too said.
"I want everything to be perfect bhabhi, and dance preparation ka kya hai, I want that to come out naturally, maine Rishab ke sath koi preparation nahi karni.", Mahira just shook her head and both Sakshi and Anushka shared a look, they both knew it's a futile attempt. And the cherry on the top was, Mahira's Mahi Bhai came to her rescue.
"Actually she is right, let that chemistry come off naturally, don't force her to prepare.", Mahi bhai said and Mahira gave him a thankful smile.
"ThankYou Mahi Bhai.", She whispered.
"And you are also no less, go relax, aise bhi today it's going to be a tiring evening, functions me bohot time lag jata hai, and you'll be in that heavily weighted lehenga, abhi rest karlo na bachcha.", Mahi bhai said in a tone that would convince anyone, but there's a reason Mahira is so close to him, she is as stubborn.
"Main rest karungi to ye preparations kaun dekhega?", Mahira whined and that's when she felt two arms wrap around either of her shoulders.
"Hum hai na!", Deepak and Shreyas said in unison, she looked at the two of them and threw her head back dramatically.
"But I don't trust you both!", She said as dramatic and received glares from both of them.
"I agree ki maine tumhe bohot torture kiya hai par main itna bura nahi hoon Mahira.", Deepak said giving her a fake hurt look.
"Aur maine to tumhe kabhi torture bhi nahi kiya!", Shreyas said with a pout.
"Arey I meant it in a positive way, matlab you guys will look after it the best I know, but mujhe jaise preparation chahiye usme 0.1% bhi kami nahi honi chahiye. Ik you both will not fail me but personally see through karne se I'll be satisfied.", She said and they both shared a look which screamed that they can't win against her.
"Unpe bharosa nahi hai, mujhpe hai na? I know exactly what you want, I'll look after everything personally, you go and rest.", Mahi bhai said keeping a hand on her hair, there was no room for argument now.
"Theek hai mahi bhai but ek shart pe.", Mahira said and mahi bhai head palmed.
"Tu mangle yaar aaj, kya chahiye bolo?", Mahi bhai said in a comic tone that made Shreyas and Deepak laugh.
"You are gonna dance with Sakshi Bhabhi today, and give her a rose by going on your knees!", Mahira stated sternly crossing her arms as Mahi Bhai looked at her wide eyed.
