Mahira's POV:
The sunlight from the curtain peeked in and I opened my eyes. The first thing that caught my eyes was of course the ray of sunlight, that was visible from between the small partition of curtains, it made me smile. But then I realised that I am engulfed in someone's arm, ofc It didn't take me even a second to guess who it is. I turned around to face him, he was still in his deep slumber and I had zero intention of waking him up. I was in the happiest position ever, seeing the sunlight and hearing the birds sing, with Rishu's arm wrapped around my waist.
For I don't know how long I kept on lying down and just looking at the two beauties I was surrounded by, one outside the window, and one beside me. As an impulse, I planted a kiss on the tip of rishu's nose, unfortunately, can't kiss the mountains.
"Good morning!", A very husky voice said from beside me.
"Good morning", I said and looked at him, he is just so so cute.
"Did you sleep well?", The first thing he asked me about was this.
"Mmhmm. All thanks to you.", I said and shifted closer to him.
"I told you it's gonna be sunny.", He said when he noticed the weather.
"Yes. I have planned to recommend your name to the weather forecast department.", I said and sarcastically and he chuckled.
"And you'll be my satellite, kyuki artificial wale ki zarurat padegi nahi, tum ghum ghum ke weather bata dena!", He said. Idiot.
"Haha very funny, get up now we have a long day ahead.", I said and he wrapped his arm around me more tightly.
"5 minutes more! Please!", He said in a childish tone. One I couldn't say no to.
And we kept on lying there in complete silence for a long time.
"Rishu, it's been more than 5 minutes.", I said.
"What? No, it's been just two minutes.", He said very seriously and that made me laugh. He has no track of time.
"Get up baby, we can cuddle again anytime, but this day won't come back right.", I turned to him. When I'm travelling, I'm traveling. No drama whatsoever.
He groaned dramatically and got up finally. He let me use the washroom first. And then I came out and changed in the room while he was in the washroom. I was wearing his hoodie today, which was oversized for me and track pants. We had to do a long trek today of 3500 ft.
"My clothes look better on you.", Rishab said coming out of the bathroom, making me laugh.
"Does that mean I get to keep it.", I asked shamelessly and he laughed.
"You get to keep me, all of these come with me only.", He said and I hid my face in between my palms.
"Let's go.", He said grabbing my hands and we both went downstairs for breakfast.
We had a light meal only since eating more can alter our health, and we don't want any complications while trekking.
We drove from Joshimath to Govind ghat, it was a 20 km drive and through some of the most beautiful scenery ever.
"You ready?", I asked him stepping out of the car, the way in front of us.
"Yes.", He nodded looking up. We gave our bags to mules who carry it uphill, we just had a backpack with necessities, which rishab took from me.
"Please keep me entertained warna I might get tired.", I said to him and he held my hand.
"As you say, love.", He said and we both started our trek, it was 5 hrs long and we would stop in between. We began climbing without thinking of the time, I just had to enjoy his company, and I know time will flow by, without being tired.
