Mahira's POV:
I came back to the hotel packed all our stuff and with the team vehicles shifted to another hotel where DC players were staying. My room was in the same floor as them. I had quickly changed into my pjs and since idk how I wasn't at all sleepy tonight, I switched on the TV and started watching the movie Ice Age which was playing on Star movies. Don't judge me for liking animated disney movies please.
In between the movie, my phone started ringing. Rishab it was.
"Hey rishab. Soye nahi?", I picked up the call and answered him cheerfully.
"Nah! Abhi hotel aaya. Neend nahi aari. What are you doing?", He asked me .
"I was just watching Ice age kyuki wo hi aara TV pe. Neend mujhe bhi nahi aari.", I said.
"Main aau?", He asked and I could hear the hesitation.
"Han. Aise bhi I'm bored. Room no 204 it is.", I said and hung up.
After 10 minutes there was a knock on my room door.
I knew who it was I immediately got up and opened.
"Come in!", I whispered making room for him to enter. He entered with a huge smile on his face.
"I have brought something for you.", He whispered in the same way like I did.
"Sachchi? Kya?", I asked pulling his hand and dragging him along. We were both sitting on my bed now.
"I ordered some cheese pasta isliye mujhe late hua aane me.", He said and gave me a box of pasta, I squealed happily as I was really hungry. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him for a quick hug and then backed off immediately.

Rishabh's POV:
The happiness on her face was worth everything. Since Inayat told me she likes anything with cheese I specially ordered these for her and took it. I wanted to surprise her and I succeeded. She wasn't sleeping and I could see there was no hint of sleep in her eyes. When she hugged me I was on cloud nine but before I could hug her back she backed off and I mentally scolded myself. She was looking even more pretty in her tshirt and pjs.
"You'll share with me na?", I asked her making her laugh.
"Ofcourse Rishu!", She said squishing my cheeks again. Her way of expressing love.
She opened the box and fed me the first spoonful of pasta with her hands. Even though with a spoon but I was very happy that she fed me atleast. I was the happiest guy on earth today.
"Tumhe neend nahi aari ?" I asked her
"Surprisingly nahi.", She said chuckling and switched off the TV, neither of us were paying attention to that machine.
"Mujhe bhi. Let's do something fun.", I said to her with twinkling eyes.
"Chalo terrace pe jake chillate hai.", She said and I looked at her with surprised expression and she broke out in laughter.
"Mazak! Kya fun karoge, we can't even go out.", She said scrunching her nose and how cute she looked doing that.
"Chalo sabke room ke gates pe knock karke bhagte hai!", I said and her eyes widened before turning into a frown.
"On any other day I would have said yes. But everyone is tired now.", She said.
"Mmm..... What about 20 questions?", I said. Initiating a conversation it'll be a good way to know her
"What's that?", She asked taking a spoonful of pasta and stuffing it in my mouth.
"I get to ask you 20 questions and you get to ask me.", I explained to her.
"Mmmm....20 is a lot. What about 10?", She said and I agreed.
"Okay, so you go first.", I said and she kept a finger on her chin thinking. How cute, I felt like kissing her.
"Mmm..... If you were a girl for a day, what would you do?", She asked me. Creative.
"I'd just live a normal day. Wake up, have breakfast, work, enjoy. And haan, I'll try to doddle my face. Makeup I mean.", I said and she glared at me.
"Did you just call makeup as doodling. How rude rishu!", She hit my arm lightly and I laughed. "And you don't need to be a girl to do that, ruko tum, makeup karti hoon tumhara main.", She said with squinted eyes. Her cuteness just makes me want to hug her tightly and never let go.
"Achha now my turn. Who are you closest to in your family?", I asked her, something I genuinely wanted to know.
"See, I'm close to literally everyone in my family. My parents, cousins, uncle and aunts, literally everyone. Tumhe kiska janna hai?", She replied with a huge smile and I so wasn't surprised. If she has become so close to a of us in such a short time, definitely she is close to her family.
"As in the person you talk the most to.", I asked her.
"I can talk to everyone for hours. But aise, I have two cousins of mine. One from my dad's side and one from my mom's. I am the closest to them both since we are of the same age group. God, I miss them so much. I'm definitely visiting my family once ipl is over. But won't be able to meet my cousin who is fr , she is in Spain.", She said looking down.
"Wow!", Imagine living in spain.
"Achha, now you, who are you most closest to?", She asked me the same question.
"My mom ofcourse. And apart from that, Shreyas.", I said.
"Oh, tum mujhe shrey se milwana.", She said, obviously I'll make her meet my bestfriend.
"Ofcourse, he would enjoy your company.", I said imagining my bestfriend and my love bonding together.
"Yes!", She said in a whisper and how cute she looks every single time.
"Who is your favourite from all of us?", I asked her and she smirked.
"Tareef sunne ki achhi trick hai.", She said smirking and I blushed.
"Bolo na.", I whined.
"I'll tell you the truth. Deepak is the funniest so in that criteria he wins. I absolutely love funny people. But, You and Shardul are the ones I am closest to apart from Mahi bhai ofc, warna wohi ultimate favourite hai. And Shardul se bhi utni comfortable nahi hoon, so aise I'm the closest to you till now.", She said with a sheepish smile and I was so happy, ofc I don't mind her friendship with deepak, they call each other bro and sis. Mahi bhai se bhi she has the same bond. But why Shardul? Anyways, last name mera hi tha so she is the closest to me. I was on cloud nine.
"Kya hua?", She said when I was quiet for some time.
"Kuch nahi.", I whispered looking into her eyes and she was looking so pretty like usual, she blushed under my gaze.
"Achha I think now you should sleep. Ye sab game wame chhoro. We both have had a long day.", I said to her because I didn't want her to stay awake for long. She must be tired , and I don't want to keep her awake for longer. With a heavy heart, I decided to leave.
"Han you're right. Thanks for coming over rishu. It's always a great time spending with you.", She said and walked me up to the door of her room.
"Same here", I said and walked off blushing. I just can't wait for the day that I'll confess my feelings to her. But, I don't want to do it just like that, I want to make it as perfect as it seems. That will only happen after IPL, till then I have to try to know her to the fullest and protect my sweet angel from everyone else.
