Mahira's POV:
"Itni hesitation kyun?", Shardul asked me.
"Arey not hesitation. Just you said to I couldn't make a decision in an instant. Aa gayi na main.", I said to him and mentally cursed myself for sounding rude. He nodded and looked down. We were on the elevator now
"Sorry.", I said to him and he looked at me with surprise.
"Why sorry?", He asked me .
"I was rude to you now.", I said looking down.
"Bohot sochti ho tum. Aao.", He took my hand and dragged me to the terrace of the building.
"See!", He brought me to the railing and showed me the amazing view of Marine Drive with the beautiful city of Mumbai. It was such a mesmerizing view. I kept looking at it for a few seconds before responding properly.
"Wow!", Was all I could say.
"I assumed ki tumhe travelling pasand hai to you must like view points or places like that", he said sounding a little shy.
"Thankyou.", I was genuinely so impressed by how heartfelt his actions are.
"I have been coming here every night.", He said looking at the view.
"If I were living here. Even I would have.", I said, mesmerizing by the beauty in front.
"You must have seen a lot of views like this but.", He said making me laugh. How naive of him to think that way.
"No, everything is quite different than the other. There are no two places that are the same. Even if they look same 90%, there would still be a point of differentiation. I don't like when places in India are referred as comparison from places across the world. Like how people call Coorg the 'Scotland of India', I'd just better call it Coorg of India. Other than as a derivative of some other place.", When I start talking about traveling and the world I just can't get myself to stop.
"I have no say here. But every time you open your mouth, I'm so impressed by your point of views on everything.", He said with his romance novel stare on. I looked down blushing and hit his cheeks lightly tilting them to the right.
"Tum mujhe apne sath kahi lekar chalna na!", He said with a cute smile.
"Tum mujhe lekar chalna na. Main available hoon hamesha. You have a busy schedule.", I said to him.
"Bekar hi cricketer bana main.", He said with a pout.
"Idiot. You still do travel a lot.", I said pulling his cheeks. I have a very bad habit of pulling everyone's cheeks.
"Han. Aur nahi banta to shayad tumse bhi nahi mil pata.", He said like a kid making me laugh. I don't know what he is hinting at but I didn't want to think that away. He is such a famous personality, who am I to think that I am something to him. I didn't want to continue this conversation further so it decided to leave.
"Let's go shar. I have to drop inayat home.", I said in the calmest demeanor.
"Han chalo.", He obliged at once and we both came back, mahi bhai and jaddu bhai were sitting there with Nidhyana and Inayat. They were in the middle of some deep funny conversation. And everyone was laughing.
I went and sat beside Mahi Bhai, I was feeling a little awkward earlier with Shar, but now I'm fine.
"Mahi bhai I think we should go now.", I said very softly.
"You can stay longer if you want.", He said to me with the sweetest smile.
"Haan bhai bolo na ise rukne.", Shardul said and Mahi Bhai raised his eyebrows at him.
Does he know something that I don't?
"No bhai, I have to take Inayat home. And then shaam me Work. Even though physically I won't be present for the match. But online I have to work.", I explained my side.
"Achha. Araam se jana.", Mahi bhai said and patted my head.
We quickly said Good-bye to everyone and left
In the car:
"You had fun innu?", I asked Inayat.
"Yes. Lot of fun. Will you take me to meet everyone again?", She asked me very cutely. I couldn't say no.
"Ofcourse sis. Who did yoy enjoy the most with?", I asked her.
"Everyone was nice. But Shardul uncle was the best. He was very funny.", She said giggling. Making me laugh as well. He is a little good on the humour side.
"He even asked me a lot about you. Like how I know you? How are you my sister? Blah blah.", She said dramatically and I was not surprised. I do understand he has a certain interest in me.
"Oh!", I plainly stated.
"Can I come with you for a match? Please?", She asked me and it wasn't a bad idea.
"I'll ask people and let you know.", I said and she smiled very cheekily. Her eyes lit up at the thought of going for a match.
Just a short update. The next chapter will be long and hopefully I'll update soon.
