Mahira's POV:
Even Mayank Agarwal's 99 didn't help, DC won. We all saw the match together today at the hotel, by we I mean my CSK team.
Some stupid things also happened, like, when Rishab came to bat, deepak turned to me with the naughtiest smile. I just gave him a 'what' look, and he responded loudly, "your friend, rishu!", He said and I threw my cushion at him.
"Mahi bhai mana karo ise.", I turned to mahi bhai who was sitting beside me.
"Arey, usne kuch galat to nahi kaha, he said your friend only na. Isme bura manne wala kya hai?", He said with his sweetest smile and I nodded.
"For once in my life, mahi bhai supported me.", Deepak sighed dramatically and turned to the screen.
And then, rishab hit a six. And deepak looked at me again.
"Mahi bhai see!", I turned to him again.
"He just looked at you bchcha!", He said squeezing my cheeks.
"Par you know why he is doing that.", I said and he chuckled. I glared at deepak who stuck out his tongue to me
Now the match was over and just as an everyday routine I went to my room and called rishab. And as usual he picked it asap.
"Congratulations!", I said first thing.
"Thankyou!", I could imagine him smiling.
"All freshened up?", I asked him.
"Yes yes. You know I have someone who wants to talk to you.", He said very excitedly.
"Oh. Who?", I asked. I thought he is trying to prank me.
"Wait I'll put him on line.", He said and put me on hold, he resumed the call after a few seconds and there was a male voice on the other end, quite familiar.
"Hello!", He said.
"Hello. Rishab?", Since that day with deepak I never call him rishu infront of everyone.
"Han han I'm here, guess maine kise add kiya?", He asked and I was utterly confused.
"No idea. Probably some of your friend.", I said.
"You're not wrong waise.", The person spoke.
"Which friend? You should know him.", Rishu spoke and it suddenly rang.
"Shreyas?", I asked.
"Yesss! Waah!", Rishab said and shrey laughed
"Hello mahira, shreyas here.", Shrey said and I laughed.
"Hie. How are you?", I asked him
"Yeah I'm good. You?", He asked me and rishab was quiet.
" Same. Rishab say something.", I was talking to shrey for the first time I was being a little shy.
"Arey talk na. I'm here only." He said.
"I've heard so much about you.", Shrey said and I smiled.
"From?"
"Rishu, aur kaun?", He said and I laughed
"All good things I hope.", I said.
"Yes yes. Itni good things ki now even I want to meet you.", He said and I chuckled.
"Won't be difficult you also live in Mumbai only.", I said and he hummed.
"Even I am thinking ki Mumbai shift ho jaun.", Rishab said and both of us laughed.
"Awww. Koi ni shrey, we'll video call him whenever we meet.", I said.
"Han han perfect, and we'll send you lots of pictures.", Shreyas added.
"Bohot bure ho tum dono.", He said and I could see his cute angry expression in my mind.
"See my friend is so cute na?", Shreyas asked me and I laughed.
"Yeah, very cute.", I said.
"Sirf mera mazak udate ho tum dono, ab kabhi main tum dono ki baat nahi karaunga.", He said.
"No problem. He is already there in my insta, hum araam se baat kar lenge.", I said.
"Han wohi.", Shrey said and rishab didn't respond.
"Awww. Achha enough, now we won't say anything.", I said and shreyas added a yes.
"Han ab main mahi bhai ko complain karunga.", Rishab said.
"Wo meri hi side lenge.", I teased him
"Fir main unse bhi gussa ho jaunga.", He said.
"You're so cute rishab.", I said and shrey laughed.
"Han mere innocence ka fayda uthao tum dono.", He said and shrey laughed.
"Hayee. Innocence.", Shrey said.
"Rishu aren't you tired?", I asked him.
"Thora thora.", He said.
"Then go and rest. We'll talk tomorrow morning.", I said.
"Yes. Thori der me.", He said. Stubborn kid.
"Achha now you guys talk, idk about rishab but I'm really sleepy.", Shrey said.
"Han jao sleep, good night.", Rishab said.
"Good night.", I said.
"Good night.", He said and cut the call.
"Han, now you, why were you teasing me so much uske sath mil kar?", Rishab said and I laughed.
"Because of this cute reaction, you're so cute rishab, and you're even more cute when you're angry.", I said.
"You're also very cute.", He said. Such a sweetheart.
"Thankyou", I chirped.
"I missed you a lot today.", He said. And I could hear the sadness in his voice.
"I miss you too rishu, I wish I would've been there. I'm leaving day after tomorrow", I said.
"Oh. Btw did you eat?", He asked me.
"Oh yes, with the team. You?"
"Han same.", He said.
"You know I finished season three of vampire diaries tonight.", I told him, I love telling him about my day and everything.
"Alien talk to me. But what happened?", He asked and I laughed.
"Elena died. I mean she'll come back as a vampire now. She is the main character. It's so fun rishab you have to watch it.", I insisted.
"Okay, but I'll watch it with you.", He said and I blushed.
"Okay. Whenever you'll be in Mumbai.", I said
"But I don't stay in Mumbai na.", He whined.
"No problem. You can stay at my place anytime.", Ofc I didn't have a problem with him staying with me. Aise bhi I live alone and it gets boring at times.
"Okay then, we'll watch it together.", He said and I became so happy.
"Yes! You'll love it.", I told him incase he thinks otherwise.
"I trust your choice.", He said.
And just like that, we spoke for some more time about everything and nothing before saying good night and hanging up.
