"Amelia, where are you taking me? This is ridiculous" Loki grumbled, scratching his forehead a bit. He was wearing a blindfold.
"Oh shush. Don't worry we're almost there!" I giggled, guiding him quietly through the hall. Loki sighed. He wasn't big with the whole 'You have to put this on and no peeking thing'. I just want to make him smile. I made the bedroom into a blanket fort. When Tony was here, They had told me all about these blanket forts that he had made for Tony's daughter, Morgan, and I knew I had to make one. There were candlelights, Grapes, Mixed nuts, Fruit and books. Tony said that he made blanket forts with his daughter. Midgardians watched TV, DVDs or Netflix and had a lot of chocolate and sweets. Obviously, I didn't know what any of those were so I picked the books.

It was going well until we entered the bedroom, Loki's knee hit the side of the dresser.
"Ouch!" He cried out.
"Oh sorry! We're here!" I clapped. Loki reached for the blindfold but was stopped by my hand "Not yet silly!" Loki sighed deeply and practically fell onto the floor. Rubbing his knee.
"Amelia, Can I please take this off. My forehead itches"
"Soon. Now, Stay, and don't you think about lifting that cloth" I ordered as I skipped away. I knew with Loki blindfolded. He would probably try and guess what I was planning.
"Is that fruit and nuts I can smell?" I heard him speak, as I came back in from the kitchen. His hands ran across the pile of blankets that went up to his head. His hand slowly made their way to his head.
"Hey, you're cheating!" My voice was all squeaky.
"What? No!" I yanked the cloth off his head and he glanced up at me.
"Oh yeah?" I asked, her eyes gleaming knowingly "Want to try that again?"
"Um well.... crap"
"Hmm, that's what I thought..." I reached over to grab some blankets and that's when Loki saw the pile of books and snacks.
"Nice fort" I dumped all the blankets over Loki, giggling the whole time "These are soft" Loki picked up the majority of the blankets and dropped them at our feet. I poked Loki in the cheek.
"Ready?" I quizzed. Loki nodded "Here!" I thrust a bowl of fruit and nuts onto his lap and grabbed a couple of books.
"Okay, What are we reading?" Loki put the bowl down.
"The Merchant Of Venice and Coriolanus" I read from the covers.
"Oh, Coriolanus please" Loki held his hand out. We both snuggled down into the pillows. Unconsciously, I wiggled toward Loki, resting my head on his shoulder.

After a few hours, I caught Loki smiling at me. I smiled back. Licking my finger, I turned a page.
"What are you smiling at?"
"Didn't think you liked Shakespeare?" Loki leant his head on mine.
"I don't but you do" I yawned "I thought I would see why you love this guy so much and honestly... This book ain't half bad"
"You know I love you right" Loki whispered, kissing me softly on the forehead and smiling at the way I dosed on his shoulder "Did you know that if we were on Midgard, Tomorrow would be our 1st anniversary"
"Really?" I rubbed my eyes "Already feels like a life sentence"
"Cheek. I shall punish you for that" Loki smirked as he put his book down and he pulled me closer to him. He started tickling my sides. I started squealing as I tried to escape.
"Loki, Stop!" I laughed.
"Never!"

Loki finally stopped tickling me after a little while. We decided that we would sleep in the fort tonight. Mainly because it was comfy and cosy but also because we were too lazy to move. I used my powers to extinguish the flame of the candles.
"That is a handy gift, My love" Loki sighed as we curled up together.
"It has its perks" I sighed in contentment. We soon drifted off into a deep sleep.

It was early in the morning when Loki woke me up. But not by his choice. I use my fire to light the candles around us and I find Loki sitting upright. I put my hand on his arm but he feels cold all over, he's shivering, wrapping his arms around himself for warmth.
"Loki? Are you okay?"
"I had a bad dream," Loki says, shivering.
"What was it about?" I said. I was more awake now. I shuffled around so I sat on my knees. Loki shook his head. I nodded as I put my hand on his head, Stroking his hair "Darling, If you don't want to tell, Then don't. Either way, I am here"
"I lost you" Loki blurted out. I just nod. Allowing him to get it out of his system "It's all but a faded memory now but what I can remember. I'm in a place I don't know, where I've never been, and I'm running around looking for you. But I can't find you, Just ashes. I call out for Heimdall, but he doesn't answer. And then I get really scared, because if he can't see me, how am I ever going to find you again?" Loki presses his lips together, frowning, a slight crease appearing on his brow.
"That does sound scary"
"It is" Loki looks down at the blanket. I throw my arms around him.
"But it's just a dream. It's not real. And we're always going to find each other, no matter how lost we get. Right?"
"Right," Loki says.
"I got to ask something though" I sat on my bum. Loki nodded at me "How are you so cold?"
"Frost Giant remember?" Loki lifted his right arm and it was blue. He frowned at his skin. The blue disappears and his pale skin can back.
"Can I see that form?" I blurted out. Loki looked like a fish as his mouth flapped open.
"Why would you want to?" Loki mumbled as he pulled his knees to his chin.
"Because I love all sides of you. Whether it be a snake, horse, woman or a Frost Giant" I put my hands on either side of Loki's face "Just like you love my pyro manic side"
"Close your eyes" He whispered as he placed his head against mine.

As soon as my eyes were shut, I shivered. The air in the room suddenly became colder.
"Are you sure about this darling?" He asks, being weary for himself and myself.
"Yes," I insisted. I wanted to open my eyes but it had to be on Loki's terms.
"Love, You can open your eyes now?" My eyes were slowly opening. My green eyes met with his red eyes. I leaned back a little to take a better look at the man in front of me. My mouth hung open. Loki moved a little away from me and sat at the foot of the bed. Curled up like a scared child "Please... Do not let my Jotun form frighten you. I am still me. Don't let my appearance deceive you"
"No, Completely the opposite" I crawled over to him and traced his markings. My fingers tingled "I have no words that describe you. Other than wow"
"Wow? You mean, I don't disgust you?" Loki raised an eyebrow. I leaned back against the bed, His legs spread out in front of him "My true form frightens most people, Even myself. Yet, You seem unfazed. Tell me how" I sighed and straddled him. I shivered as I felt the coldness of his skin.
"If you did, Then why am I sitting on your lap?" I smiled. My arms snaked around his neck. I could feel Loki's hands on my hips "Or have my arms around your neck?"
"Amelia," Loki breathed "How did I get so lucky?"
"I ask myself that question every day" I smiled as I gently kissed his lips.
"You really are incredible" Loki smiled as he started to fade back to his human form.
"I don't mind you in that form"
"Be that as it is, You wouldn't be able to sleep next to me like this. Even I prefer the warmth of skin" Loki licked his lips "Come now, Time for sleep" I climbed off his lap and we went back to the fort. Where neither of us had a nightmare that night.

The next morning, I woke to find the bed empty. After 3 attempts to put my glasses on, I spotted Loki on the balcony. He was lent of the bar, staring at the view. Feet dangling over the edge.
"Loki?" I wrapped a blanket around me.
"Hmmm," he sighed. I sat next to him
"You ok?" I rubbed his arm.
"Yeah, Just thinking"
"About what?" I leaned forward. The sun was beginning to rise and the sky was filled with reds, yellows, oranges.
"Everything that has happened lately. Mostly last night"
"When I saw your other form?"
"Yes," Loki sighed again.
"I thought you were okay with me seeing it" I turned to face my man.
"I thought so too. Keep thinking you are going to run"
"I would never" I took Loki's hand in mine and I kissed his knuckles "You love me at my worst and I will love you the same way"
"So you really ain't bothered by my original form?" I shook my head.
"No matter what form you take, I will love you" I shuffled closer to Loki. He was shivering (Irony much. Frost Giants don't feel the cold) I took my blanket off me and wrapped it around the pair of us.
"Thank you" Loki smiled as I leaned my head on his shoulder "You know. I feel so blessed every time I wake with you next to me. Your presence reminds me that I am the luckiest man in all the nine realms" Loki shivered "Sorry, I'm cold"
"I could find other ways to warm you up but I ain't staying out here to do it" I smirked as I kissed Loki's neck. He didn't speak after that. He just picked me up, threw me over his shoulder and took me back inside.
