5:47 AM

This seems to be the normal time that I wake up to throw up. It's like clockwork now. Though I wish it would stop now. I grip the toilet as another bout of nausea hits me.
"Why does this have to be a thing while pregnant?" I muttered as I wipe my mouth.
"Amelia?" Oh good, I woke Loki up. Again "Amelia, you alright?" I squint up at him from my spot on the floor, hunched over the toilet bowl. She gives him a half-smile.
"I think the baby is trying to kill me," I groaned. Loki sinks onto the ground beside me and brushes my hair away from my sweaty forehead "I see why people say women glow during pregnancy. It's from the sweat of throwing up"
"I still think you look beautiful" Loki rubbed my back. I cringed as another wave of nausea rolled through me, but, mercifully, nothing happens. I lean against the toilet. Loki yawned as he rubbed his eyes.
"I didn't mean to wake you up" I mumble.
"Leave it to you to worry about me while you are puking your guts out" He lets out a huff of laughter, and runs his hand across my back in slow, soothing circles "How long have you been in here?"
"Not long" I then make a face as nausea rolls through me again, then leans back over the toilet. Loki holds my hair back with one hand, continuing the slow, calming movements across my back with the other "You don't have to sit in with me" I said when I was finally done.
"I do believe that one line in our vows is 'In sickness and in health'"
"Only you would find a technicality in this debacle" I scoff. I was about to say something horribly corny when my stomach folds in on itself again "This is getting old" How is there even anything left in my stomach?
"How can I help?" He asks as I sit back again, slumping back against the bathtub.
"I just need to brush my teeth" Loki rises, and turns to help me up off the floor. (I moved slowly; no need to further agitate my stomach) "Can you go to the kitchens and get to make me some tea please" I flushed the loo and sat on the seat.
"The book I was reading last night said it might help if you avoid tea. It also said exhaustion could trigger nausea too, are you sure you're getting enough sleep?"
"You've been researching morning sickness?" I grin at him as I get ready to brush my teeth.
"Urm, I might have been doing some research" His cheeks were tinted. Her smile softens, and she reaches up to cup his cheek "Fine. I was reading pregnancy books. I thought to myself that since I was a part of making this baby so I might as well try and help" I looked sideways at Loki.
"You are the sweetest. You know that?" His eyes dance away, his cheeks growing redder now "What did that book suggest?" Loki hesitates, trying to gauge whether or not I still joking.
"Cold food, ginger, prenatal vitamins, small meals throughout the day, fresh air, avoiding tea and coffee, getting plenty of sleep" Loki lists as I rest a hand on the non-existent swell of my stomach.
"Pretty high maintenance for such a little bean, huh, taking away my morning caffeine fix" I joked.
"In the meantime, why don't we get you back to bed and I'll get you some breakfast. It's still early, you don't need to be up yet"
"That sounds like a plan" I smiled. Loki grabs both my hands and walked backwards out of the bathroom. Guiding me back to bed "You know, it's still a little early for breakfast. Maybe you should come back to bed for a little longer?" Loki lets out a huff of laughter and allows me to pull him back into the bed. I curl into him, tucking herself under his arm, resting her head against his shoulder. My face in my happy place "I love you" I sigh, pressing a drowsy kiss to his neck. Loki runs his finger through my hair as my breathing slows.
"I love you too" His hand then wanders down to my stomach "And I love this little one"

It was nearly 10 in the morning when I woke up. Cursing silently to myself as I was due to meet Lady Frigga and the girls for the final dress fitting.
"Darling?" I whispered a ran my fingers through Loki's hair. The god sighed deeply as he opened his eyes to find me hovering over him "Hey," I said with a hint of a smile tugging at my lips "I'm heading off to meet your mother" Loki nodded his head as he shifted his long legs beneath the bedsheets.
"Do not do any heavy lifting" He yawned, blinking up at me curiously.
"I am not going to work and I can lift a washing basket" I smiled as I leaned over him "How else am I going to hide the fact that I am pregnant from your mother"
"Fair point and why can't I come with you again?" Loki groaned.
"Sorting the last alterations for the dress since the wedding is in 3 days"
"What time do you think you will be finished?" Loki pushed up onto his elbows.
"Couldn't say. I will be fine" The god shot me a dubious look as I leaned down and pressed my lips to his "I'll see you later," I said, pulling away.

While on the way to the bridal room, I spotted that the Bifrost was in action.
"I wonder who has turned up or leaving?" Come to think of it I haven't seen Thor for a few days. I shrugged and carried on my route. I knew that Charlotte and Elizabeth had already tried their dresses on by the time I would arrive at the bridal room. Lady Sif was waiting outside for me.
"Slept in?" She had her arms folded.
"So would you if you had been unwell for the last 3 days with a sickness bug" I shrugged.
"Okay, I'll let you off. So are you ready for Friday?" Lady Sif rubbed her hands together.
"What's happening Friday?" I tilted my head at Lady Sif.
"Your bachelorette party? Don't tell me you have forgotten"
"How can I forget something I never got told. I don't need a bachelorette party. It's fine" I protested. I waved my hands. How can I get out of this? I can't drink.
"Nonsense. It's tradition. Thor has been having a ball planning Loki's bachelor party"
"Fine, But I ain't drinking. I've still got a dodgy tummy and I do not want to throw up at my wedding on Saturday" I folded my arms.
"Fine. I'll make sure no one gets you any ale. Now let's see this dress" Lady Sif grinned.

"Ah Miss Amelia, you look beautiful. Now let's go and show the others" Mrs Anderson, My wonderful tailor, clapped her hands. I walked out and stood in front of the giant mirror. Lady Frigga and the girls were grinning and crying. Charlotte was fanning her face. Elizabeth wiped her eyes. Lady Frigga looked on proudly.
"My son chose well" She beamed.
"We have seen this dress a few times now and you guys are still crying" I grinned a ran my hands over my dress. I still felt a little off and bloated.
"I will also cry at your wedding," Charlotte said as she used her sleeve to wipe her face.
"My emotions are all over the place" Elizabeth sighed as she handed Charlotte a tissue.
"Miss Amelia, are you wearing a veil?" Mrs Anderson asked. She ran a tape measure around my waist and chest area. She wrote down little notes on a glitter notepad.
"Yes," I admitted. Mrs Anderson put her finger on her chin.
"Hmmm, I see. Right, I shall be a few moments. I have a few veils in stock that will accommodate all sorts of hair. Up or down" Mrs Anderson said as she quickly left the room.

"So ladies. We have 4 veils here. We have a floor-length veil that sits on the top of your head" Mrs Anderson held up the first one. It was fancy lace with a silver headband.
"Thank you" I smiled.
"It is no worries" Mrs Anderson smiled back.
"Sif, Which one do you think will go with this dress?"
"What about this?" She picked up a simple veil. No fancy patterns of trimmings. It was still lace and it would be dropped about halfway down my back.
"It's actually the veil that comes with this dress"
"I love it" I announced as Mrs Anderson clipped it into my hair. I did a little dance as I squealed "I love it"
"Good. Now I believe that is everything. Please get changed while I sort out the bill" Mrs Anderson said as I walked out the room. I knew Lady Sif would sort out the paperwork. I hung my dress on the back of the chair and quickly got changed. Once I was changed Mrs Anderson came back into the changing room and picked up the dresses.
"Thank you Mrs Anderson for helping us out," I said as we left the room.
"Not at all my dear. This is what I do. I love making young ones' wedding dreams come true" Mrs Anderson said as she placed the dress in a long bag. She placed the shoes, Necklace and veil into separate boxes and we took them out to the main area. Lady Sif took them off her and hung them up "I hope that one day I will be able to help you 3 young ladies with your weddings" Mrs Anderson gestured to my bridesmaids, Who all blushed.
"I never want to get married" Elizabeth waved Mrs Anderson away.
"I may be dating someone but I can't see marriage on the cards" Charlotte shrugged "What about you Sif?"
"I don't know. Right now. Nope. Maybe in the future" Lady Sif looked towards the window. She does this when she wants to avoid the conversation.
"Right, I need to get the alterations sorted. Have a fantastic wedding" Mrs Anderson bowed and walked out of the room.

I stood out in the garden. I was going over my checklist. Everything was all set for Saturday. I think I was talking aloud because I didn't hear someone creep up on me.
"Miss Amelia" I felt a hand on my shoulder. I smacked it away and moved backwards. I set my hands on fire and got into a fighting stance. I relaxed immediately when I saw who it was.
"Vision!" I put away the fire and hugged the purple man "You made it!"
"We all did" He hugged back. When I looked confused. I saw Pietro, Stood next to a double pram and a very tired looking Wanda.
"Wanda!" I yelled as we flew at each other "You came!" We bounced around in a circle.
"I was never going to miss your wedding" She smiled "Do you wanna meet the twins?"
"Ohh yes please" I grinned as Wanda lead me to the pram. Two beautiful baby boys were sleeping soundly "I wish to hold them when they wake up"
"You would be lucky. These little rascals sleep all day and party all night" Pietro cooed over his nephews.
"I don't care. I still want cuddles" I grinned "Would guys want a tour or shown to your rooms"
"A tour would be great" Wanda hooked her arm in mine as the boys followed us around.
