"Darling, Stop wiggling" Loki scolded. I tried to protest about going to the healers, but Loki didn't listen to me. He kept a hold on me. I swear he has a death grip. (I curse his frost giant strength and mainly his stubbornness)
"Loki, Put me down!"
"No. I am carrying you to the healers" Loki insisted. I will admit that I felt bad about him carrying me but Loki wasn't even breaking a sweat "You are not heavy and it makes me feel like I can do something to help you"
"Well let me walk then" I sighed.
"No. I put you down and you will walk in a different direction"
"I am fine. It is just a bug. I do not need a healer" I insisted.
"Since we left the market, You have thrown up 3 times. To be safe, Let's get you checked out"
"It is just a bug" I rubbed my stomach.
"Look, Sweetie, You are unwell. And with a week to the wedding, We can't take any chances"
"Hmmph" I sulked. I folded my arms. Loki laughed at me.
"You are so cute when you sulk" Loki smiled at me.
"I guess so but you don't have to carry me" I sighed. Even though I wanted to walk, Loki's cold hands and chest were oddly refreshing and I do like being in his arms. It makes me feel safe.
"And how do I know that you won't run away when I put you on your feet?" Loki stopped walking.
"True but I really don't have the energy to walk let alone run" I shrugged.
"If I let you walk, will you go to the doctor?" Loki narrowed his eyes at me.
"No" I shook my head. I tried to look innocent.
"Erugh, How can I convince a woman like you to do what I want?" Loki asked. I laughed.
"You convinced me to marry you. That is about as good as it is going to get" I poked Loki on the nose. Loki sighed. I felt my stomach gurgle. I put my hand over it "Darling, Could you drop me again? I need to throw up in that trashcan"

After throwing up for the fourth time. Loki barged his way into the medical room. There were a few people in here, Including Lord Fandral, Who was throwing a ball in the air and catching it in one hand. He shot up once he saw us.
"Loki? Is Amelia okay?" Lord Fandral spoke. Screaming in pain and then falling over after 3 steps.
"This one keeps throwing up and what did you do?" Loki placed me in the chair.
"I jumped out a window after a night of passion" Lord Fandral placed his hand over his heart "It was wonderful till the lady's husband came home"
"Normal weekend for you then?" I rubbed my stomach. Lord Fandral grinned and then climbed back onto his feet.
"Mr Fandral, Sit back in that chair!" A nurse ordered him.
"It is just a twisted ankle" Lord Fandral hopped back onto the chair.
"When it has to be popped back into place, It is not twisted. Now stay there" The nurse said as she handed Lord Fandral an ice pack "Once the surgery is ready, You will be able to go home"
"Hello, Can someone help me out here?" Loki waved his hands around.
"Mr Odinson, What is wrong?" The nurse grabbed a clipboard.
"With me, Nothing. My fiance is ill. Can someone take a look at her?" Loki nodded at me.
"Through this door" The nurse pointed to her left. Loki said thank you, Picked me up and we went through door number 3.

"Ah, Miss Amelia. How are you feeling?" The head healer, Racheal Lawson asked as Loki placed me on the bed. Doctor Lawson was the one who removed my cast.
"She keeps throwing up. 4 times since we left the market place" Loki replied for me. The doctor looked at me.
"Thank you Amelia" Doctor Lawson rolled her eyes "Amelia, What brings you here?"
"I am fine. It's just a bug" I think the doctor knew I was lying. I didn't want to say I was sick because I didn't want Loki to worry. The doctor looked at the nurse and moved her head towards the door. The nurse understood perfectly.
"Right, Mr Odinson. Please wait outside while Mrs Lawson talks to Miss Amelia" The nurse pushed Loki out of the room. Loki tried to argue but after I gave him a look, He gave up in the end.

"Now that he has gone, How are you really feeling, Miss Amelia?" The doctor inquired once Loki is out of earshot "Why has Mr Odinson brought you here"
"I threw up a few times" I put my hand on my stomach "My stomach still feels nauseous"
"When did you last throw up?"
"I threw up 4 times on the way here" I sit on the edge of the exam bed, The doctor gives me a look of concern before drawing closer. She places her hand gently on my forehead.
"Hmm. You don't seem to have that much of a fever. Do you think it was something you ate?"
"I don't believe so" I shook my head.
"What have you eaten today?" Doctor Lawson grabbed a pen.
"I only had a small helping of eggs and sausage this morning, but they tasted weird so I didn't finish them. I did have a bowl of grapefruit though, That was lovely. Lunchtime was carrot soup with this cheesy bread. I couldn't keep that down. All of them were prepared by the kitchen staff, so I don't think it's food poisoning. Besides my stomach started feeling funny before I ate any of that" Suddenly I feel the urge to vomit again "Urm, Excuse me" I shot up and rush to the bathroom.

The doctor follows into the bathroom after me and pulls my hair out of the way until you finish.
"Thank you," I slouch against the porcelain seat. How am I still throwing up, There has to be nothing left in my stomach. I gripped the toilet and rested my forehead against my forearm.
"No problem, my dear" The doctor smiles warmly. She pauses for a brief moment before handing me a glass of water.
"What are you thinking?"
"I'm just guessing here. I could be wrong. But is it possible that you could be pregnant?" I froze.
"Pregnant?" I stutter. The doctor stood up and went to the cabinet. She pulled out a box.
"Here. Pee on this" The doctor handed me the box and left the room. I looked at the instructions. I know it's a pregnancy test but I still had to see how long I had to leave it before a result showed up and how many lines it needs for negative or positive.
"Okay, 1 line for negative and 2 for positive"

Once I peed on the stick, I put it in the sink. What would happen if I was pregnant? I know Loki has always said he would love me pregnant but I thought that was one of his many, many kinks. But he was talking baby names with me last week so I don't know.
*KNOCK*KNOCK*
"Miss Amelia, How are you doing?" Doctor Lawson asked as she popped her around the door as I put my dress back down. She looked concerned "Is there something I can help with?"
"Not unless you can speed this thing up," I muttered then I looked up at the doctor "And how many times do I have to ask you to call me just Amelia?"
"A thousand times. And as a professional, I will continue to do so" The doctor smiled as she sat on a small stool "How are you?" I sat quietly on the toilet, staring at the little white stick I had just peed on.
"If I am, How am I going to tell him?" I groaned.
"You will find a way. The entire realm knows how much Loki loves you. He won't leave you" The doctor patted my knee "How far along do you think you could be?"
"I haven't missed a cycle yet" I mumbled.
"So around 4 weeks. Give or take" Doctor Lawson ran a hand over her face.
"We were safe each and every time" I looked at the floor.
"Conception is only 98% effective" The doctor patted my knee "Is Mr Odinson going to be okay if you are pregnant?"
"I don't know. We have talked about it but it was meant to happen after we got married. I don't know how he is going to react" I sighed "I know the wedding is a week away but still. I cant gage his reaction"
"Judging by how he is still trying to break in here, I think he will be fine" Doctor Lawson pointed to the door. I could hear Loki talking with the nurse. Well, I say talking, It was more like arguing. Lord Fandral was trying to calm him down but it didn't seem to be working "Is he always like that?"
"Yes, He is always overprotective" I looked down at my hands "It got worse after I learnt to do this" I made a ballerina appear in the flame "I dread to think what the hormones are going to be like"
"I can't tell you that. Each pregnancy is different" The doctor patted my arm.
"I wonder how Loki will take the news"
"He might faint. Most men faint when they find out that their loved ones are pregnant"
"If I am, I'll tell him back in our room. Might have some sort of soft landing" I joked "Is that test ready?" Doctor Lawson picked the test up and turned it so she could see the screen. Her face was blank.
"Yes, it is" Doctor Lawson handed me the test. My hand reached out shakily. I took the white stick off her and I stared at the pregnancy test, feeling my mercifully empty stomach drop.
"Pregnant"
