Autumn-

I sat down on the living room couch with Roman he fiddled with his fingers bouncing his leg up and down

"Are you hungry or anything?" He shook his head and turned towards me about to say something 

My phone rang loudly I answered it and put it on speaker

"You have a collect call from..." the operator paused 

"Dominguez state jail" Roman raised his eyebrow 

"It's my brother" I said rolling my eyes

"If you wish to accept this call-" 

"Accept" I sighed then I heard a cough on the other line

"Hey Autumn" Adonis coughed 

"Hey, how you holding up in there?" He sighed 

"I'm doing alright how's my son doing?" I looked towards the stairs 

"TY!" I yelled 

"Yes ma'am?" He yelled back 

"Come down here baby" I rubbed my temples I had a huge headache 

"Yes ma'am?" He said again 

"Your dad want's to talk to you" I told him 

"I have nothing to say to him" He clenched his jaw 

"Adonis he doesn't want to talk to you this happens every time why do you keep trying?" I told him 

"I'm sorry " I mouthed to Tyler he shook his head and grabbed his sketch book and sat on the floor 

I looked at Roman and he seemed nervous I put my hand over his to calm him down

"Adonis what do you want? You haven't called in months?" I said frustratingly

"I- I just want to apologize to my son I don't want to lose him" I said sounding sad my face softened 

"You already lost him" I said and then hung up

"Tyler we're gonna go to see your mom after you get home from work tomorrow okay?" I looked outside and his friend was here to pick him up

"Auntie my friend is picking me up I'm gonna spend the night at his house tonight is that ight with you?" I lightly smiled and nodded my head he kissed my cheek dapped Roman up 

"Okay love ya'll see you tomorrow auntie" He said standing up grabbing his phone from the table his bag and walking outside 

"Roman we have to talk" I played with my fingers Roman always makes me nervous from the way he looks at me to the way he talks... I know it's wrong but it just feels so right

"Why have you been so distant lately?" He asked looking at me in my eyes and turned to me giving me his full attention 

"B-because I've been busy with work a-and the kids" I stuttered he put his hands in mine

"I gotta confess to you Autumn" He looked at me then the floor 

"I'm in love with you and I know that your with him but I want you" I said looking deep into my eyes My heart dropped because I know where this was going

"R-roman we can't-" He cut me off by kissing me and I kissed him back 

"Autumn It's you It's always been you" A tear fell down my face I was conflicted I didn't wanna go down this road again this was Lucas's brother TWIN brother at that maybe my attraction to him was to Lucas but he was better than him he was kind and understanding but I also had Kareem my soon to be husband
