"Hanguang Jun, do you think we are there yet?" 蓝思追 (Lán Sīzhuī - Lan Sizhui) asked the second jade, his father figure who nodded his head in response.

"We've asked that innkeeper for directions in getting to Yuandao, but I feel like it was a set up or a hoax" 蓝景仪 (Lán Jǐngyí - Lan Jingyi) commented feeling annoyed that until now they haven't arrived at their destination. "It felt like we've been circling around for hours"

Hanguang Jun along with a couple of disciples including Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi were currently flying their swords as they assigned with a task to head over to Yuandao to give an invitation or invite the Fenghuang Sect to join the upcoming Gusu Lan Lectures and Cultivating World Conference. Since it's their first time going to Yuandao they've asked people for directions on how to get to Yuandao.

"Hanguang Jun, Zewu Jun is asking for your presence" A Lan disciple informed Lan Wangji who was busy grading papers from the junior's historical and demonic cultivation classes.

"Mn" He replied before standing up from the jingshi and walking his way towards the hanshi passing by lan disciples practicing their sword formation, younger disciples were running around and playing with each other. Most of them greeted him with a respectful salute once they see him, in return he nods at them.

"熊掌 (Xióng zhǎng - Xiongzhang)" Lan Wangji greeted and saluted his brother who was sitting inside the Hanshi being surrounded by different papers and scrolls.

"Wangji, come and sit please there's something I would like to discuss with you" 蓝曦臣 (Lán Xīchén - Lan Xichen) warmly smiled at him while lighting up an incense burner.

"Mn"

Lan Wangji sat across from his brother as Lan Xichen started to explain to him the topic.

"Earlier I talked to shufu and the rest of our sect elders about the upcoming guest lectures we have and proposed to them a suggestion to invite the newly made Yuandao Fenghuang Sect to join and send their disciples. All of the elders have agreed to invite them and I want to ask if you are willing to head to Yuandao to hand out the invitations and invite them to the guest lectures?"

"Mn" Lan Wangji replied while keeping his cold demeanor but Lan Xichen the only person aside from Sizhui understood or decipher Lan Wangji's sense of feelings despite his stoic face.

"Since you travelled around the world I'm sure that you are aware that there are more cultivating sects aside from the Four Major Sects and the minor sects that took part of the Sunshot Campaign and Siege of Burial Mounds. However there are those that are isolated and only a few know of their names. I think we should take the first step and invite them in a friendly way.

"Xiongzhang.."

"Don't worry I will be sending our sect members to send out invitations and I will also personally send some as well" Lan Xichen then added with a small smile "I'm also thinking about having a competition where all of the sects can showcase their talents and abilities. It will include swordsmanship, archery, music, medicine, calligraphy, and more.

"When?"

"As soon as possible, I would also like to invite their sect to join us for the upcoming discussion conference. I'll also be sending some invitations myself to show that we are serious and hoping to build a change in the cultivating world. It will be held here in Cloud Recesses"
