A/N: Here it is! I'm actually super excited for this chapter, so please let me know in the comments what you thought of it!
To try and keep the Ghost Riders away, the kids locked themselves inside the Argents' armory with every lock and every door they could find.
"The tunnel gate's locked." Lydia said, as soon as Scott managed to close the heavy door to the armory. "Everything is locked."
"Think it'll hold them off?" Malia asked.
"Probably not." Diana clicked her tongue.
"Definitely not." Lydia said, as Malia stared at them.
"You guys aren't hoping I'm gonna be the optimist, are you?" She asked, as Scott sighed at the girls, walking around them to get closer to the freezer Diana swore could help them remember Stiles.
"So, how cold does this thing get?" He asked, looking at the freezer aphreensevily as Diana moved to stand beside him with an arm wrapped around herself.
"Cold enough for a hellhound." She said. "And probably for me too. It's not the same thing as the ice bath you gave Isaac, but it can lower your core temperature past anything a human can survive."
"So, what does freezing our asses off have to do with our memories?" Malia asked.
"It'll slow your heart rate and put you in a trance-like state." Diana explained. "It helped us access Cerberus inside of Parrish, so maybe it help us access the supernatural part of us. And if the human part of us can't remember Stiles, maybe the supernatural can."
"Okay." Scott nodded. "That can work."
"If we can figure out how to work it..." Diana mumbled, looking at the freezer as Lydia and Malia stepped up closer to her and Scott as well.
"This says start." Malia said, pointing out a button on the machine. "So, maybe it's not that complicated."
And, as Scott took a second to look at all the other levers and buttons there, he sighed.
"It's complicated." The alpha said.
"So, optimistically, how much time do you think we need to do this?" Malia asked, as Lydia shrugged.
"As much time as Liam and the sheriff can buy us." She said.
"Which is not that much, realistically, so... Let's figure out how to work this thing." Diana said, starting to try and see if she could recall anything from that day a few months ago when she had seen the machine in use for the first and last time.
As the kids started to almost desperately press all the buttons they could find, they all jumped back when the door unlocked and cold steam started to come out from some of the pipes.
"Okay." Malia said. "It's doing something. You ready?"
Looking over at the girls, Scott nodded his head. Because no, he wasn't ready but if anyone was to endure a test on a machine none of them knew how to work, it should be him. After all, not only was he the alpha, Scott also knew that, if anything were to happen with any of the girls, he would never forgive himself. So, pulling his shirt over his head, Scott stepped into the machine as Diana stood by the door, keeping it open for him as he stepped in, before closing it and looking over at Scott through the same glass opening she had used to talk to Parrish last time.
"Remember, this will get cold enough to kill you." She warned. "So, if something feels wrong, or, like it's not working..."
"It's going to work." Scott said, as Diana sighed.
