Chapter Twenty Two

Gracie POV:
"Mama, can one of my friends come around?" I asked her nervously, "of course bambina, who?" She asked me, "Aurora, she's the one who I made friends with first" I told her. "Okay well I'm exited to meet her bellina".

"She's here!" Carina shouted from downstairs. "Coming!" I said running downstairs. "Hi Gracie!" She said hugging me when I opened the door, "Hi Aurora" I said hugging her back, "shall we go to my room?" I asked her. "Sure" she smiled. "Oh this is my mama Carina" I said introducing her. "Hi carina, so nice to meet you" Aurora said, "and you Bella" Carina replied. "Do you like pizza Aurora? I can make some for dinner" She asked her, "My favourite" she replied, "I like you already" she winked. We both went into my room and hung out for awhile just taking and joking around, "I'm so glad I bumped into you the other day" she joked making me blush. "Me too" I smiled. "Your so easy to be around" she added starring at me. We sat looking at each other for a minute before Carina opened the door making us both snap out of our trance "pizzas re-ady" she slurred when she saw us looking at eachother. "Okay" I said quickly standing up and walking downstairs with Aurora following. We sat and ate the pizza with Carina. "Mhmm mama this pizza is amazing" I said, "it is really good Carina" Aurora added, "Thankyou girls, I've left some for Harper and Maya as well" she said. "Who's Harper and Maya?" Aurora asked, "Harpers my sister and Maya is my other mom. There at the park but they should be home any time soon" I told her. "Oh that's cool" Aurora said. We finished eating our pizza and Carina went upstairs to have a shower so me and Aurora decided to watch a movie. "What should we watch?" I asked her, "What about a marvel movie" she replied, "my favourite I smiled sitting on the sofa next to her. 20 minutes into the film I started to become restless, "you okay?" Aurora asked me "cant get comfortable" I told her, "Here rest your head here" she said patting her thighs, I lay down and rested my head on her thighs, "better?" She asked, "yes" I said actually feeling much comfortable. I lay there for awhile and she was playing with my hair. "I'm home" Maya said walking into the living room. "Oh hi" she said surprised seeing me on Aurora and vher hand in my hair. "Oh shit" I said under my breath, and quickly sitting up. Maya shot me a look hearing me swear. "Sorry" I apologised. "It's okay don't worry, Carina told me you had a friend over I just wasn't expecting- yanno" she said, "mom stop" I said embarrassed. "Okay okay, I'm Maya, it's nice to meet you sweetheart" she said turning her attention towards Aurora, "it's nice to meet you aswell" she said smiling, "I better head home my parents are probably wandering where I am" she said standing up, "do you need a lift home sweetheart?" Maya asked, "oh I only live a block away so I can walk, thankyou for having me over tho" she replied. "Anytime" she replied walking into the kitchen. "I'll walk you to the door" I said to Aurora, "why thankyou" she replied putting on an English accent making me laugh. "Bye Gracie" she said pulling me in for a hug and then kissing my cheek making me blush and my mind go crazy. "Bye Aurora" I said as she walked off. I walked back into the house and upstairs to see Carina and Harper, "Harper! I didn't even realise you were home" I said exitedly hugging her, "I missed you" she said hugging me. "Did you enjoy the park with mommy?" I asked her "si" said cutely. "Anything you want to tell me bambina?" Carina asked me, I knew exactly what she meant but I didn't want to talk about it, "nope nothing" I said turning my attention back to Harper. "You sure Gracie?" she asked me, "I don't want to talk about it" I said raising my voice slightly annoyed, "sorry" I replied instantly feeling bad.

Maya POV:
"Night night sweetheart" I said kissing Harpers head as she fell asleep. "Hi bambina" Carina whispered wrapping her arms around my waist. "I love you" she said kissing my cheek, "I love you more baby" I told her. We both went into our bedroom as Gracie was doing some homework in her room. "Do you think Gracie and Aurora are more than friends?" I asked Carina. "What makes you say that?" She asked me. "When I came home I saw Gracie laying her head on Auroras lap and she was playing with her hair" I told her, "your kidding?I walked into her room to tell them pizza was ready and they were looking at each other like really intensely but I didn't really think anything of it" she told me shocked. "Should we talk to her about it?" I asked her, "it would probably be best si" Carina told me, "okay go sit of the sofa and I'll tell her to come down" I said to Carina. She went downstairs and I went into Gracie's room. "Sweetheart come downstairs me and Carina want to have a chat with you" I said, "oh" she replied, "it's nothing to be scared of okay? We're not mad at you" I reassured her. We both made our way downstairs and sat on the sofa. "So bambina, we're not mad we just want you to tell us the truth. Is Aurora more than a friend?" Carina said putting her hand on Gracie's leg. "What no!" She shouted defensively. "Bambina shush Harper is sleeping" I told her. "Can you stop I don't want to talk about it!" She said storming off to her room. "That didn't go as planned" I joked to Carina, "Maya not now" she said seriously.

Carina POV:
I followed Gracie to her bedroom and knocked the door, "bambina can I come in?" I asked through the door. "Go away" she cried, "I cant leave you like this bellina I'm coming in." I walked into her room to see her in bed with tears running down her cheek. "Oh bambina come here" i said picking her up. "Me and Maya are always here for you, you don't have to hide anything from us okay?" I asked her "okay" she said hugging me. "Can we go back downstairs I feel bad" Gracie said to me, "of course" I said.

Maya POV:
"Mom...." Gracie said, "are you okay sweetheart, sorry for pressuring you baby" I said feeling guilty. "No it's okay, to be honest I was scared" she admitted, "scared of what bambina?" Carina asked sadly, "I didn't know if you were going to be mad" she told us, "you have two gay mums and you were scared to tell us you like girls?" Maya joked making Gracie chuckle. "I don't really know how I feel" she said starting to cry. "That's completely okay, you can take as much time as you want trying to figure out who you are, we are here for you and we will always love and support you" I told her. "You two are the best" she said hugging me and Carina. "I love you" she said "I love you so much bambina" Carina told her, "I love you even more"I said to Gracie earning an sarcastic eye roll from Carina.
