Chapter Twenty Seven

Carina POV:
"Morning bambinas" I said opening the curtain to let some light in, "mhm what time is it?" Gracie groaned, "7am" I told her, "why so earlyyy" she said putting a pillow on her face to cover the light, "ah ah nice try, we need to go for breakfast and then you can sleep on the sun bed if your still tired bambina" I said lifting the pillow from her face. "Harper wake up bellina"  I said shaking her to wake up. "Mhm" she stirred opening her eyes. They both sat up and looked around the room. "Where's mommy?" Harper asked, "she left at 6 to go for a run she should be back any minute now" I told her pouring some water for Gracie and Harper, "what! A run on vacation?" Gracie said surprised,  "I know bambina your mom is crazy" I said handing the glasses of water to them, "crazy? More like amazing" said Maya standing by the door, "mama mia" I said jumping and turning around, "am I that scary?" Maya joked kissing my cheek, "ew your all sweaty, shower" I said pointing to the bathroom, "wow now look who's the bossy one" Maya said holding her hands up innocently making the girls laugh. After we all headed out we went for breakfast and got some sun loungers by the pool. "Bambinas you want to go in the pool?" I asked them, "yes mama!" Harper exclaimed taking off her top so she was left in her swimming costume. "Gracie?" I asked her, "mhm not yet I'll stay with mom" she said sitting in her sun lounger next to Maya. "Okay bambina" I said before taking Harpers hand and walking into the pool.

Maya POV:
"Come here" I said to Gracie signalling her to lay next to me on my sun lounger. She came over and put her head oh my chest, "how come you didn't want to go swimming sweetheart?" I asked her, "i um don't know how" she said quietly. "Oh sunshine that's okay, you don't have to go in the deep part and me and Mama can teach you if you want?" I asked her, "yeh okay but can we lay here for awhile first" she asked me snuggling closer into me, "yes, close your eyes baby" I said running my fingers through her hair, after awhile I felt her breathe deepen and I knew she was asleep and I slowly closed my eyes letting myself get some rest.

Awhile later I was woken up to Harper soaking wet jumping on me and Gracie. "Oh my god you little monkey" I said jumping up and grabbing Harper throwing her in the pool. "Moms turn" Carina said confusing me before Gracie and Carina both pushed me into the pool. I emerged from the water and Harper swam onto my back. Carina came into the pool with Gracie on her hip, after awhile we decided to go for a walk along the beach.

Gracie POV:
We were getting ready for the beach which was just outside the hotel, "all ready bambina" Carina asked me, "si" I said putting on my sunglasses. When we got to the beach we set down a picnic blanket and Carina played some Italian music from her phone. "Look what I brought" Maya said pulling out a ball from her bag. She threw it onto the sand and me and Harper both chased after it, we bumped into each other and both tumbled into the sand laughing on the way down.

Maya POV:
Harper and Gracie were playing together while me and Carina were sitting on the picnic blanket drinking a bottle of wine, "they are so perfect" I said admiring Harper and Gracie, "our perfect family" Carina said kissing my cheek. After awhile the sun was setting and the girls were playing in the sand, I was sitting in between carinas legs and she had her head rested on my shoulder, "Thankyou Carina" I told her, "I love you" she said planting a kiss on my shoulder. "I love you more" I said leaning my head on her chest. "Mommy, Mama! Look at those people!" Harper said pointing to some people surfing in the ocean, "you want to surf tomorrow? Your mama is the best surfer" Carina said, "your full of surprises" I said shocked not knowing she could surf, "si I used to surf a lot when I was travelling" she told us, "well what do you think?" I asked the girls and they both nodded there heads eagerly smiling from ear to ear. "We better head back to get ready for dinner si?" Carina asked "okay baby" I said standing up and then pulling Carina up.

Maya POV:
"Our reservations in 10 minutes let's move it people" i said hurrying up the girls and Carina. "Si si I'm coming bellina!" Carina shouted from the bathroom, "oh wow you look... wow" I said lost for words at Carina, "oh stop it bella you look amazing" Carina said wrapping her arms around my waist and placing a kiss on my lips, "um there are children here" Gracie said standing behind us, "ha sorry bambina" Carina laughed reaching out for her hand, "where's your sister?" I asked Gracie, "she's coming now" she said grinning, "you do realise you said sister right?" Carina whispered to me, "I know it just came out, it feels right tho" I said smiling. "I'm readyyy!" Harper said skipping over to us, "someone's in a good mood" I said lifting her up into my hip, "si mommy" she said smiling cutely, "come on then let's go" I said holding the door for Gracie and Carina to walk through. A few minutes later we arrived at the restaurant, "ah Ms Deluca nice to see you!" A woman with a thick Italian accent greeted at the door, "and you" Carina smiled, "okay follow me" the woman said showing us to our table, "grazie" I said to the woman once at our table earring a thumbs up from Carina. "Someone will be over to take your order shortly....."
