We lay on my bed and Chase intertwines our fingers together. So far, for him being so excited about us being home alone for the rest of the night, it feels no different than any other night when we knew my parents were downstairs.
I sigh, not knowing what to do, and get on my phone which shows my lock-screen as the picture I took of Chase on our first date with ice cream dripping down his chin.
He laughs at the sight of it, "you really have that as your lock-screen?"
"Yeah," I laugh, "I think it's my favorite picture I have of you."
"I don't have any pictures of you from after we started dating," he pouts.
I roll my eyes, "yeah, and you're not getting any."
"Why??"
I give him the look, "you know how I feel about pictures being taken of me."
"Please?" He sticks his bottom lip out and gives me puppy dog eyes.
"That look won't work on me," I shake my head.
"Pwease?" He asks in a baby voice.
"Not happening," I sing-song.
He leans back with a sigh, "I will get a picture of you, mark my words."
I laugh, "mark my words?? Seriously?? You watch way too many old-timey movies."
He shrugs one shoulder, "we always said we were born in the wrong era."
"True."***
We start watching The Nightmare Before Christmas for the hundredth time, but I can't focus on the movie because Chase is rubbing small circles on my thigh unconsciously. My nerves light up at the contact and I can't take my mind off of it as he slowly moves further up my leg.
When his hand gets as high as it can go on my leg, I try to stop it by laying my hand on it and intertwining our fingers. He removes his hand from mine and starts the process all over again, except this time when he gets to the top I whisper, "what are you doing?"
"I can't stop thinking about you in that dress," he looks at me seductively.
"It was just a dress..."
"It's not just that," he whispers, "it was the thought of being the one to help you into it," he slides over to straddle my hips, "and out of it."
He slams his lips onto mine, his fingers combing through my hair as he pulls me closer and closer to him.
He slips his tongue into my mouth and deepens the kiss. I put my hands in his hair and let him explore my mouth as we kiss like never before.
He moves his lips up my cheek and gently sucks on my ear lobe as I whimper his name.
He kisses below my ear and works his way down to where my neck meets my collar bone and starts biting and sucking my skin, making me moan.
"Chase," I pant and pull at his hair as he sucks and licks my neck. His hand slips under my hoodie and trails up and down my back as he reconnects our lips.
He bites my bottom lip and gently pulls it out with his teeth before going to the other side of my neck, kissing and sucking around the bandage from earlier.
His fingers reach the clasp of my bra when I finally stop him, "wait, Chase."
He stops abruptly and looks up at me in worry, "what? Are you okay? Am I hurting you?"
"No, no, I'm okay," I shake my head, "I just don't think I'm ready for... that." I indicate his hand that was still on my back.
"Right," he nods his head, "I'm sorry. I got caught up in the moment." He was still panting from all the kissing and sucking.
"No, it's okay," I caress the side of his face and he leans into me, "it's not that I don't want to, I just don't think I'm ready for us to go that far."
"Okay," he nods his head, still leaning into my hand, "I want you to be comfortable. You're all I care about, okay? So don't hesitate to tell me if you're feeling uncomfortable or you want me to stop."
I smile at him, "I love you."
He pecks my lips, "I love you too."
