This part will be told from Chase's point of view.
I realize y/n wasn't lying about the madness beginning when it's been thirty minutes and we're still taking pictures. If this is what being famous would be like, I don't think I could handle it. My cheeks were getting sore from the constant smiling, and I could tell that y/n was getting sick of it too.
"Do you want me to do something about this?" I ask her with barely moving my lips.
"Please do," she says, trying not to move her lips as well.
"Okay," I say loudly to get her parents attention, "I think you have enough pictures, don't you?" I make eye contact with both of them to make sure the compulsion works.
"Yeah, I think so," they nod in unison.
"Wonderful," I clap my hands, "now let's get out of here." I take y/n by her hand and pull her through the threshold to the door.
"Oh, thank god," she sighs. "That was getting to be unbearable."
"Right," I agree. "Thankfully my parents work tonight and couldn't get in on the action."
She laughs, "and you thought I was joking when I said let the madness begin."
"You think you have it in you for one more picture?" I ask her with my best puppy dog eyes.
She rolls her eyes, "I guess."
I take my phone out my pocket and snap a picture of me kissing her cheek, then I get her to kiss my cheek and take another picture.
"Just when I think you can't get any more gorgeous," I push her hair back behind her shoulder, "you prove me wrong."
She blushes at my words, "flattery will get you everywhere."
I laugh, "let's go, princess. You have a ball you need to get to." I walk her to the passenger door and open it for her.
"Why, thank you, good sir," she plays along. "I sure do hope I find my Prince Charming there," she winks at me, causing my heart to melt.
"Well, I don't think he'll stray too far, and any man would be lucky to have you by his side," I wink back before closing the door and running over to the driver's side and get in the car.
She reaches over the center console and grabs my hand, "I'd say I'm pretty lucky to have you."
"Nah," I shake my head with a small smile, "I'm definitely the lucky one in this scenario."
She shakes her head and giggles, "we're lucky to have each other, I guess."
"You know it," I wink at her and squeeze her hand before turning the key in the ignition and putting the car in reverse.
I seriously can't believe how lucky I am to have this gorgeous girl by my side. I'm going to try my hardest not to screw this up.
