I turn the shower off once I finally feel like my cramps are mostly gone and exit the shower. Once I dry off I notice that my clothes have been replaced by the Pikachu hoodie he gave me last night and a pair of gray sweatpants.

I smile as I pull the hoodie on over my head last and exit the bathroom. I walk in my bedroom to see it's been completely transformed. My bed has a makeshift canopy over it, accented with firefly lights, and a pumpkin Halloween bucket sits in the middle of a mound of pillows filled with all of the candy Chase bought me. I notice that the TV is paused on Sierra Burgess is a Loser... when arms snake around my waist and he pulls me back into his chest. "Surprise," he whispers in my ear. I lean back into him and kiss his jawline, "what did I do to deserve you?" "I think you have that backwards," he smiles. I intertwine our fingers and pull him into the fort with me. I curl into him and he starts the movie. "We don't have to watch this if you don't want to," I say, knowing he's not crazy about romantic movies. "That was a lie," he admits, "I like romantic movies, it was just hard watching them with you and not being able to do this," he presses his lips to mine softly. I smile into the kiss, "yeah, that was really hard for me, too." After we're well into the movie, Chase asks, "why do you like that guy so much?" He nods to Noah Centineo on the screen. "What?" I blush. "Why do you have a crush on Noah?" "Who said I did?" I laugh nervously. "You're eyes are always glued to him and you always have this smile of adoration on your face when he's on screen or talking." "Okay, he's cute, so what?" I shrug a shoulder. Chase scoffs, "I'm you're boyfriend, over here." I can tell he's joking but I look at him and say, "listen to my heartbeat." He nods his head to indicate he's listening to it. "You, Cole Chase Hudson, are the only one I want." A small smile spreads across his face when he realizes I'm not even slightly lying. "You're all that I want, too," he kisses the top of my head and we go back to watching the movie.
