You fidgeted in anxiousness as Diluc led you to an enclosed room, feeling slight gay vibes envelop you. This reminded you too much of when Kokichi would sometimes yank you into an empty classroom and make out with you, to your bliss. No. Bad thoughts, go. He was hot, though (haha). You inhaled as Diluc finished closing the door and pulled out a couple of chairs for the two of you.
"I'll answer the questions you have for me first, and then you'll get my dress, yeah?" Out of sheer nervousness, you shifted into Rantaro's speaking pattern, something that always reassured you. Diluc raised an eyebrow at it but said nothing as the two of you settled down. "Alright. First question: Whose blood do you have on you?"
You sighed. A question that you couldn't answer for certain, but you would try your hardest to remember. "I am fully aware that you are not inclined to believe me, but I have no idea. It's not mine, though. I can tell you that much - I performed a self check on myself immediately upon awakening, nor am I aware of any mental disorders except for my current bout of amnesia." You started out tentatively.
"Who knows, maybe try tossing a few phrases or mannerisms at me, and I'll remember. But I'm...pretty sure that the blood this belongs to is not who I'm looking for. At least I'm praying it's not." You started to ramble (a but unknowingly, whoops), in an attempt to get him to believe you.
You needed him on your side, the maid couldn't get you connections like he could; that was the main reason you felt so little guilt for shooing her away- she didn't need to hear about death and misery, something that with time you would probably tell Diluc about. Obviously not now, however, not when half of your memories are gone.
Diluc listened attentively. "Wait, you mentioned people to her? Mind telling me about them?" You flushed deeply as he had stopped your rambling mid-way, causing him to muffle an already quiet chuckle. "Yeah, one has black and purple hair and has a similar scarf to what I'm wearing-" you wiggled your scarf so he could see it "and the other has green hair and multiple piercings on his ears and rings." Diluc pondered, making you fidget in your seat. "And why do you need to find them? Do you have dangerous business with them?" He then proceeded to ask.
You were astounded at the sheer audacity of the question that your surprised face turned into a mocking sneer. "Why yes, I have dAnGeRoUs business with people that I love with every fiber of my being." Diluc kept pressing, agitating you, but eventually, you got the gist of what he was doing.
You realized he wanted you to get mad- which could actually work out for you so you ran along with it and let your emotions come out, wanting to prove to Diluc that you weren't a murderous fiend when you were mad. You held in a sigh of disappointment that mixed with your anger, though - he had told you that he had heard of neither Rantaro nor Kokichi before you talked about them.
The question he imposed on you that got to you first was- "How do you know that blood isn't theirs?" You clenched a fist at that question, shooting the coldest glare you could muster at Diluc. "Oh, I don't know, maybe because I deeply care about them, and I'm still trying to remember what happened to my boyfriend?" You spat with pure venom at Diluc. "Hell, maybe this blood is mine! My gut is telling me that something is deeply wrong with me even though I'm fine! I don't know what the fuck happened to get me here!"
Your disappointment quickly turned into full anger at the thought of you killing either of them. He doesn't know about the killing game! He doesn't know about the psychological torture and damage all of you went through! He probably couldn't even fathom the thought of watching someone he cared about get tortured to death! Thankfully, at least, you could prove that you could still keep quite a few secrets close to you- he shouldn't get to learn everything about you from your first meeting.
