Stuck In Another Reality? Darn.

1 Year Special! ☆

OOPS, missed the date I published this AND Halloween. There's two whoopisies, back-to-back.

Uhhhh, expect a cute Halloween special in a few days, but I also really want to say thank you all so much! It's been a blast making this book, and I feel that my writing style has changed and gotten so much more better than when I started.

I started making drafts last October, taking the average word count from some of my other favorite fan-fics- actually, lemme know! Should I shake up the word count or keep it around the same? I've been on the fence about it for the longest time.

Anyways, it took me a few weeks to get down what I wanted. Until I decided to completely change what would go down mid-way through my draft pile, causing a mass deletion of a bunch of chapters, :(

I still haven't recovered, haha. It's also due to my brain repeatedly imagining mc in different books, games, and anime- practically forcing me to write down those scenarios so I can focus on this. I have so many miscellaneous chapters, send help-

Also, I know this fan-fic can be a tough pill to swallow for most, since it does involve a lot of depressing themes. However, I do really appreciate those that have been sticking around, it means a lot!

I mainly got this idea after browsing through Danganronpa fics and not seeing enough about what would happen to their psyche after coming out from the game, because that shit WOULD be damaging to anyone, impairing their trust, identity, and so much more.

Then I grew to love the isekai genre, Genshin, and harems so my head thought 'why not combine these!' So I did, and here we are!

So many hours of research have gone into this too, which I actually found pretty fun (concerning, ik. I'm concerned of myself too). Then there's the research for the drafts that I scrapped, may it rest in peace.

The mc was a kinda inpulsive decision. They're not really based off me, I do try to distance them, but my personal habits do slip in when I try to write the more comedic scenes? Idk, I think they're kinda funny, they make me giggle when I write them, hope they get a chuckle from you too.

I've had to restrain myself from writing too much Venti (proud Venti main, simp, enthusiast), but he almost always finds a way to creep in before I decide that the storyline isn't going how I want it to and change the scenes he would be in. I screeched when I introduced him, and that's the main reason why I decided to not have mc meet him first.

I want to write a good harem, not just Venti x Mc (and then everyone else is just there, I suppose).

The talent of mc also might be a bit odd, as they haven't used it much, but don't worry~

I always write their actions and feelings with reasons behind them. It's all deliberate, even if it's not obvious as to why.

Every last weird tingle, memory, thought, and action- they all have a connection to the future. Even the past.

Now I lowkey feel like Mona, whoops.

As for mc's former love interests; uhhh. I thought it would be cute? No, really, think about it! I know Shuichi is known as THE love interest for Kokichi, but like, Rantaro is WAY more cuter, doesn't get nearly E N O U G H story- and the protective mature person x the dramatic crackhead person romantic dynamic lives rent-free in my brain.

I personally headcanon mc as being a hybrid- more responsible at times, a bit pouty at times and also a crackhead. They balance the dynamic out!

As for the poly, I uh...there's no real reason for that, I hc Rantaro as pan and Kokichi is....(sweats while staring at kokichi x male and kokichi x female fics) bi, but leaning towards gay?

so it works out! I thought they would be fun and interesting to write, just add in a few factors and yay! Former mc's love interests, and being able to write the mc as they/he/she :) (though mostly he)
