Glossy (e/c) eyes slowly fluttered open as you took in the foreign noises and smells around you.

'How... how did I get here? Where am I? Wasn't I just at the Academy?'

Realizing this, you tried to stand up to take in your surroundings, but alas, the most you could do was sit up and let your eyes get assaulted by the sudden and bright shine of the sun. "Huh?" You couldn't help but state out loud - you were thoroughly confounded by where you were.

'Guess those random tips Rantaro gave me will come in handy.'  You thought to yourself, immediately performing a full body check. Although it was a shame he never got to know what his ultimate talent was, he was prone to giving you random survival tips the few times you asked what he was reading about- he was a bit of a bookworm. God, how you wished that you could've asked for more before he...anyways.

Focusing back to yourself, you winced as you noticed that your shirt and (pants/shorts/skirt) were covered in blood. Well then, that's certainly not going to give you any friendly points to anyone you might cross. At least you had no injuries, concluding that after performing the pat-down; something quite different than what you recall happening. You died, after all... right? Maybe you were going crazy.

Forcing your mind away from that thought, you crawled to a tree. 'What am I going to do now?' You laughed at yourself for asking such a ridiculous question, knowing damn well what you were going to do. Survive and live for them (well, you forgot about the deaths after Kaede and Rantaro, but you'll remember them soon, hopefully?) Well, it's what Kokichi would have told you to do, seeing as you somehow escaped the Academy.

Slowly regaining your strength, you grunted as you forced yourself to stand, your legs trembling as if they hadn't worked for months. You wished you had Kaede or Kaito to help encourage you, though for now, mentally picturing their happy faces was enough. Even Miu would be helpful. Her degradation would weirdly empower you as well. Not to mention, she was hot. Actually, most of them were hot, thinking back on it. Damn.

Finally stumbling onto your feet, you had the chance to take a better look at your surroundings. A few trees,  cliffsides, and sky were all you could see to your disappointment. 'Hey, maybe I found myself in a post-apocalyptic scenario. At least the weather and wind are nice.' Chuckling at your lame humor, you bring your mind to the matter most important right now: survival. Based on what you remember, the first thing to find was water. Then food, finally shelter. At least you had time. It seemed to be around noon - if you were lucky an hour or two before then.

Starting at a slow pace, you trotted to get a gauge on your surroundings, which was only trees for right now. Well, if worse came to worse, you could try to build a shack for yourself, but you feared for its integrity since you had never done anything like that before. However, water was the priority. Maybe you could even get all the blood off of your clothes. Was it even yours? You couldn't quite recall, but you would hope that you had fought back before... well, getting here. You weren't even sure what had happened. You were living and breathing, after all. That insistent voice though; it kept saying that something was off, and you wanted to trust your gut. The one thing Kokichi and Kaito would agree about.

Sighing, you decided to flex your legs and burst into a jog, semi anxious for water. Mind you, you weren't thirsty yet, but that was the problem. Who knew how long you had until you felt like keeling over? Sure, it would be wise of you to slow down and walk, but you were in an unknown situation overall!

Who knew how long it would be until you were forced into another killing game? You forced yourself to not run, even though you were getting even more anxious as you started to see houses: hopeful proof that humans or humanoid creatures existed here.
