Bard wandered off to go find Sebastian, looking everywhere but the kitchen. In hindsight, this wasn’t very smart of him, as it was lunchtime. After looking around for about an hour, Bard finally made it to the Kitchen, and found Sebastian inside-preparing a second plate. The second plate highly confused Bard, as no one was eating lunch with Ciel as far as he knew. Deciding not to face Sebastian’s wrath for walking in on him, Bard waited outside the door and pretended he was about to walk in when Sebastian walked out the door-almost crashing into Bard, but catching himself before he did.

“What do you want Bard?” Sebastian said, looking at Bard, before checking to make sure that none of the food had moved out of place.

“Well.. you see… Finny’s not going to be out and about today because…” Bard trailed off slightly intimidated by Sebastian.

“What about Finny?” Sebastian pushed, obviously annoyed that he was being held up.

“Well… He’s sick today so he might not be walking around for a few days as he gets better.” Sebastian only nodded and sighed slightly, knowing that he would need to tend to the garden as Finny recovered.

“I will see to how he is later. Until then there are some dishes that need cleaned.” Sebastian said to Bard, as Bard moved out of the way. He nodded slightly and Sebastian carried on his way taking food up to Ciel. Baldroy headed into the kitchen and sighed slightly at the mess. It wasn’t that he minded the job, it was just that he wanted to get back and see how Finny was doing as soon as he could. If he could, he would take Mey-Rin in to see Finny-That is if she was willing to go into the men’s bedroom.

Bard started doing the dishes, scrubbing them clean. He swiftly put the dishes away, careful to not break one, because if he did Sebastian was sure to throw a fit… Well, he wouldn’t throw a fit, but he wouldn’t be very happy. Bard looked at the plate that was covered with a cloth that was sitting on the counter and was tempted to take a look, but he wanted to get back to Finny… But, his curiosity was so strong… Bard sighed and lit a cigarette, holding it in between his lips and taking a puff of it, letting the smoke flow out from between his lip, like water falling down off of a cliff-except the smoke was going up instead of down. Or a balloon whose string had been cut by a child as most children did-that is, cut the string of their balloon and letting the balloon float up into the air, up, up and away, as they laughed in joy watching their balloon fly far away from their home. Bard shook his head and held his cigarette in between his lips, his lips pressed tight together as to keep the cigarette from falling out. Bard reached his hand out and carefully lifted the cloth with the tips of his fingers, lifting it higher and higher, as the aroma of delicious food drifted out from under the cloth.

Getting the gut feeling that he usually got when something was about to happen, he dropped the cloth and went back to putting dishes away after making sure that it looked like it had been untouched. Bard finished putting the dishes away and left the room right as Sebastian walked in. Sebastian gave Bard a small nod, before entering the room, leaving the cart inside the kitchen with the plates and tea items, and grabbed the plate. Bard hid behind something as Sebastian made his way upstairs with the plate. Bard being as curious as he was at the moment followed Sebastian making sure not to get caught.

Sebastian was unnoticing of the fact that he was being followed-which was very unlike him. Sebastian made his way to his room and opened the door, slipping in. Bard noticed, before Sebastian shut the door with his back turned towards the door, a young girl sitting on Sebastian’s bed, smiling happily. From what Bard could see, the young girl had a dirty white dress on, and a rats nest of blonde hair-or what looked to be blonde-resting atop of her head. He couldn’t get a good look at her face however, and Sebastian shut the door too fast for Bard to see what her face looked like. Seeing that he wasn’t going to get another look at the girl before getting caught, he sighed and headed back to Finny, to see how he was doing. Before he got down to the servants quarters, he crashed into Mey-Rin-Quite literally.
