Soju Time

"Hey Niki" said Jungwon, trying to keep his head still.
"Yeah" he replied, looking at his hand.
"This is the best Maknae night ever" said Jungwon, nodding.
"That's true" replied Niki.

They vibed for a few seconds on the background music. Suddenly, Niki tapped Jungwon's arm.

"Where's Sunoo?" he asked looking around.

~a few hours before~

"Are you guys going to be okay?" asked Jay, looking at the three maknaes.
"Yes dad" replied Niki, laughing.
"DONT CALL ME THAT" shouted Jay.

"What's with him?" asked Jake, whispering to Sunghoon.
"Niki has been calling Jay "dad" all week, that's all" replied the latter.
"Oh I get it now" nodded Jake.

Heeseung, who had heard the shouts, had appeared in the hallway.
"Jay, they'll be fine" said Heeseung. "It's neither the first nor the last maknae night."
"It's true Jay Hyung" added Jungwon. "Plus, they're with me!"

Jungwon smiled with a proud face, melting the tension Jay had in him.
"Hey, I'm older than you" said Sunoo, pouting.
"Yes, but I'm the leader" explained Jungwon.

"Can we go now? Really hungry" said Niki, putting an end to the hallway talk.

Jay looked at them enter the car. 
"You know they're all adults now right?" asked Jake near him.
"That's exactly what scares me" replied the latter.

"Is this the place you wanted to try?" asked Sunoo.

The car had left them in the heart of Seoul, in a crowded street.

"Yes! I've heard that it's inspired by Itaewon class and" started Niki.
"You like Itaewon class" finished Jungwon and Sunoo at the same time, imitating the youngest.
"You guys are the worst" he said, laughing.

They entered and ordered food.

"So should we celebrate Niki's birthday?" suggested Sunoo.
"Aren't we already doing that?" asked Jungwon, confused.
"Do you mean what I think you mean?" replied Niki, surprised.

Sunoo looked at them, smiled and asked the waiter to bring a bottle of Soju.

"Really?" said Niki. "I didn't think you'd want to after last time."
"What last time?" asked Jungwon, even more confused.
"Shut shut, nothing happened! Plus this time, you're legally allowed to drink with me" replied Sunoo, giggling.

The food came and they ate, but the conversation made less and less sense. None of them was used to drinking, and the shots kept happening.

"So" began Jungwon, trying to focus his eyes on Niki. "Have you drank before?"
"No no no" he said, shaking his head more than he had to. "But once we ate out with Sunoo and he tried a bit, and it ended... well"
"Should we tell him?" asked Sunoo, putting his hand on Niki's arm.
"Tell him what?" asked back Niki, looking at Sunoo.
"That we slept together" replied Sunoo. "Well, I don't know if it's okay to tell him."
"Ah yes, that" answered Niki, stopping to think.

He turned back and looked at Jungwon.
"Sorry Won, I can't tell you what happened, but don't be mad okay?" said the youngest.

Jungwon just laughed.
They don't even realize they told me.

Jungwon felt his pocket moving.

What is happening down there?

He found out his phone was vibrating.

Jungwon smiled and opened their conversation.
