Jungwon instantly noticed that Jay was feeling down. To be honest, he was expecting that, mentally preparing for what he would say at this instant.

However it was complicated. They were in a special lounge, surrounded by their team of staff and manager.
Niki was on the phone, texting Sunoo back home probably. Heeseung sitting on the comfortable chair, playing on his switch in between Jake and Sunghoon who were sleeping with their heads on Heeseung's shoulders.
Jay on the other hand wasn't doing anything. Not even listening to music.

That instantly broke Jungwon's heart. He knew Jay well, and right now the latter wasn't well at all.
That needed to stop this instant.

"Hey Jay" whispered Jungwon sitting next to him.

The latter nodded before realizing it was actually Jungwon talking to him.

"Hey" he mumbled, not looking at the leader.

Now, one could just assume Jay was tired. After all they had had a crazy schedule with the kcon, and they were all tired. However, it was clear for Jungwon that it wasn't the only explanation to Jay's behavior today.

"If you need me, I'm here, okay?" whispered the leader, so that only Jay could hear him.

The latter nodded.
Jungwon smiled softly. It was enough for now. He needed to respect Jay's space. However, that didn't mean he couldn't plan something else on the side, right?

So Jungwon thought for a few minutes, until he had a breakthrough. He had indeed noticed Jay looking at something on their way to the private lounge. If Jungwon could convince a staff to help him, it could work.

Jay sighed. Hopefully he could be in a "bad" mood if he disguised it well into tiredness. He was always napping, so that could make sense. He wanted to open up about it to the members, but certainly not here, in an airport surrounded by staff.

So he waited. Bored and sad. He had a book, his phone and headphones but nothing appealed to him. He just wanted to get it over with.

Then, something caught his attention. Jungwon was walking towards him, hands behind his back. He had a slight dimple poking through his cheek, and Jay could see he was trying not to smile too much.

Which, let's be honest, was adorable.

The leader got closer and closer until he sat next to Jay, unable to contain his smile anymore.

For some reason, all of the staff seemed to be interested in getting coffee at this exact instant.

"Jayjay" whispered Jungwon.

The concerned looked at the leader, getting lost in his beautiful and big kitty eyes.

"Hum?" he replied, unable to say much more.
"I know you're sad" said Jungwon.
"What?" asked the latter, surprised. "But.."
"Don't worry, you hid it well, I think everyone else bought it" rapidly added Jungwon.

Jay looked a little annoyed.

"I know you're grateful for having met your family, and I'm extremely happy for you" added Jungwon. "But I know you also don't want to leave them."

Jay stayed silent, wondering if Jungwon could read minds.

"We're all very sensitive regarding grandparents after Jake's grandmother..." added Jungwon.

Jay looked down. Jungwon had guessed it.

"I know it's not much, but I got you something" added Jungwon.

Jay frowned.

"Thank you, but you didn't nee-" started Jay, before the leader shoved a duty free bag under his nose.
"Just open it!" said Jungwon, a bright smile on his face.
"You're not supposed to open a duty free bag, you know that" replied Jay, side smiling.
"Then take a peek" insisted Jungwon.

Jay did as told, and as soon as he recognized what was inside, his eyes opened wide.

"How?" he whispered.
"I saw you looking at it when we were walking passed the duty free" explained Jungwon. "I thought that maybe it could cheer you up.. as it comes from here you can remember visiting your family every time you use it."

Jay's hand held the bag tighter.

"It's silly I know, but-" added Jungwon.
"It's not silly" instantly cut Jay. "Not at all. That is the most thoughtful thing anyone had ever done for me actually."

He stopped to look into Jungwon's eyes.

"Thank you" he whispered.

They had arrived safely and the dorm was a mess, as everyone was cleaning and tidying their things.
Jay rushed a bit, he wanted to do something as soon as possible. He sat down, looking through his pictures and choosing which would be uploaded.
Once satisfied, he opened weverse.

Somewhere in the dorm, a phone chimed. Jungwon looked it up, instantly seeing that Jay had uploaded something on weverse.

As he read the caption and saw the picture of his present, he felt his heart skipping a beat and a smile appearing on his face.
