Jungwon knew he needed to rest. His dream of becoming an idol was still hanging in line and he needed to show the best of himself at each performance.
And to do that, one must sleep well.

Guess who didn't do that because he kept thinking about that little note in the wall?

That's right, Jungwon.

Several clues and questions had risen from that last piece of paper.
Firstly, the author was obviously a big fan of bts. Of course all the trainees were, but this one seemed really really excited about their visit to the egg.

He dedicated so much space in his small piece of paper to write about them, clearly he's a fanboy.

Then, there was the obvious question of who had written the note.
It stated that he wished he had been chosen into the same team as Jungwon, so that ruled out Jake, Geonu and Daniel.
But there still were 8 other trainees.

Jungwon reviewed his last interactions with each of them. K, Heeseung, Taki, Hanbin, Sunghoon, Niki, Sunoo, and Jay.

Who is it?

Jungwon finally fell asleep, the question stil floating around in his mind.

~

As soon as he woke up, Jungwon felt this extreme motivation. It laid on two points: winning the bts challenge and discovering the author's identity.

The temptation to check the notes in the bathroom all day long to see if a new entry had been added was suffocating. Jungwon obviously couldn't spend the day doing that. Firstly he had to train because tomorrow the challenge would take place, but also he was the leader of his team, and they deserved to have all of his attention.

He hadn't thought about it before this challenge, but he kind of liked being the leader. It seemed easier for him to have a little bit of control over the schedule, but also because he could ensure that each member would be heard and that they would work together. So far it had gone well.

Jungwon got dressed silently as some of the trainees were still asleep and headed for the kitchen.

"Hi" greeted Jake, already there.
"Hey" replied Jungwon, grabbing a pack of ramyeon.
"Oh that's a good idea" said Jake, side eying the ramyeon. "I was about to eat some rice, but"
"Ramyeon is better" laughed Jungwon. "We deserve it."
"Absolutely" said Jake.
As they started preparing the noodles, Daniel and Geonu arrived.

Everyone is on time!

Jungwon smiled. He had really chosen his teammates well.
They all shared breakfast together and headed for their training room. Jungwon was intransigent on the warming up, so they spent a long time getting ready before getting back into I need U.

After an hour, the dancers that would perform with them on stage arrived and they all trained together. All in all it went well, Jungwon was quite happy with their work so far.
They had trained the choreo, the facial expression and the vocals, nothing was missing.

As everyone had done a good job, Jungwon suggested a long but well deserved lunch break. In the afternoon they would correct a few details here and there and they would be ready for the challenge the next day.

As soon as the teammates and the dancers agreed to the break, Jungwon excused himself to the bathroom. He had checked before breakfast, but to no avail. He had no expectations for now, as only a few hours had passed, but one never knows, right?

He walked into the bathroom and headed for the last cabin. Once again, he carefully took out the little roll of papers and unfolded it.

Jungwon felt his heart going faster and faster as he did. The first three notes were there, but a forth one had been added!

Without breathing, Jungwon took it and read it.

"The atmosphere is getting quite heavy. After K and Niki fought the other day, the team has been weird. I mean, I know K scolded Niki in Japanese so that we wouldn't understand, but he doesn't know I do speak Japanese as well, so...

I just want this challenge to be over.
And I just want Jungwon to stay here."

~

Jungwon had a persistent smile on his face. He had isolated himself a little bit before lunch to think.
The author was in K's team, and it definitely wasn't K nor Niki.
That meant it was either Hanbin or Jay.

Come to think about it, Jungwon was hoping it was Jay. Of course, he liked Hanbin, but Jay was different.
Firstly, they knew each other for a long time, plus he was extremely sweet and kind. The taxi fee incident kept rushing back to Jungwon's thoughts.
Jay was really someone awesome.

I hope you'll stay too Jay Hyung.

Jungwon ate with Jake and they talked about their families. Jake was a bit bumped about his being so far from him, but Jungwon managed to cheer him up the best he could.
It was easier to do so because he was in a great mood himself.
He had decided that Jay was the author of the notes. Firstly because he really wanted Jay to be him, but also because it made more sense for Jay to write in Korean than Hanbin.

"We should head back" said Jake once they were done with their dishwashing.

Jungwon nodded.
The rest of the afternoon went very fast. The team had agreed not to finish too late, because they wanted to get a good night of sleep before the challenge. They needed to do well of the rehearsal in the morning and then during the actual challenge in the afternoon.

However, that wasn't the only thing on Jungwon's mind.
He had thought about it a lot, and he kind of wanted to write a little note and leave it in the bathroom wall for the author.

Would it be okay?

He didn't want the author to know his privacy had been invaded... but on the other hand...

Jungwon grabbed a pen and a piece of paper, slipped them in his pocket and headed for the bathroom.
Thankfully the cabin was free. He entered, closed the door and started writing his little note against the wall before rolling it the thinest he could and hiding it in the wall.

I really hope it's you Jay Hyung.
