Anya Shaek's POV (pronounced shake)
I am shaking. Nervous all over. It's Reaping Day. My brother, Jak, isn't worried. He's 19, so he isn't eligible for the Games. He makes breakfast while I pull on a red dress and tie the blue sash around it. "Go get ready. Then wake up Mom and Dad." I nod and wash my face. Mom and Dad work late shifts at the forge, and wake up late in the morning. They get ready and we walk to the square together. "I hope you don't get reaped, Anya." Jak hugged me and walked to the adults' section.
A woman with green hair and minty skin introduces herself as Aloe Vera. "Happy Hunger Games and may the odds be ever in your favor. For this Quarter Quell, not only the reaped tributes, but also one of their family members will be placed in the Games as well! Ladies first!" She pulled a crisp white paper from the glass ball that held the fate of one young girl. "Anya Shaek!" I slowly walked up and saw Mom crying while Dad held her. Aloe pulled a slip of paper from the boys ball. "Reed Cloune!" A thin boy with brown hair walked up on stage. "Jak Shaek and Lily Cloune!" Jak and a tall girl with blonde hair walked up. "The District 2 tributes for the 100th Hunger Games!"

Reed Cloune's POV
I woke up and Lily was still asleep. I woke her up and she kicked me out of the room. "Go change in the bathroom or something!" I sighed and put on a half-decent shirt. Honestly, Lily. Having you for a twin can be truly terrible sometimes. I ate breakfast and pulled Lily to the main plaza, and I waited for the escort to reap the tributes. She had hair that looked like it had been spray painted with liquid gold and she had gems showering her dress. "I am Jewel Glamour, the escort for District 2. Welcome to the 100th Hunger Games, and the 4th Quarter Quell. Happy Hunger Games and may the odds be ever in your favor. For this Quell, one family member of the tributes will be a tribute as well!" She pulled a paper from the ladies ball and called, "Anya Shaek!" A girl walked up. She looked like she was going to have a panic attack. Then came the boys. I heard my name, and I calmly walked up to Jewel. Then Jewel said, "Jak Shaek and Lily Cloune." A boy and Lily walked on to the stage. "The District 2 tributes for the 100th Hunger Games!"
