I don't own Tracker Jackers. ~Amanda
Riane Haine's POV (D5)
Daniel and I sit in the cave. I poke the fire's ashes with a stick. I can tell Daniel is miserable. I walk over to him and put my arm around his shoulders reassuringly. "Hey, it'll be okay." He looks at me. "How? Cassidy is gone. Lianne is gone. What if I lose you too?" I blush, hoping the cave's darkness hides it. "We can beat the Games, Daniel. We can win. You and I, we're a team. Together, we can win." He smiles. "Thanks, Riane." We hug and I point to a sleeping robo-bear. I mouth, Run! We sneak out of the cave, and escape. I slump against a tree. Daniel whispers, "We should go, before that mutt wakes up." I nod and we continue running.
Ethan Knight's POV (D4)
Mom and I are on a rocky ledge overlooking the Cornucopia plains. She takes my chin in her hand and says, "Ethan, no matter what, I want you to know that I always love you. Don't ever forget that." I nod. "I love you too." We hear a dinging sound. A sponsor gift! I open it. It's soup, with a note that says Dear Ethan and Layla, I love you. I miss you. I want you back home, safe! Try to survive. Love, Dad. I show Mom the note, and she takes a spoonful of the warm broth. As she reads the note, tears form in her eyes. She quickly wipes them away, and curls up in the shadow of a tree. I copy her, and we both fall asleep.
Reed Cloune's POV (D2)
Lily and I hear branches snapping, and we get back to back, and I hold my bow at the ready. A wild boar runs out of the bushes, and grunts as it charges towards us. I aim, and fire. Lily smiles and says, "Bacon." We laugh and carry the boar to our fire. We finish it off and bury the bones under a bush. Lily scans the area. She whispers, "Hurry, up that tree! I see some tributes coming!" We scurry up the branches, and two boys run past us. I sigh in relief. We drop, and unfortunately, the tributes heard us. They run over to us, and one has an axe. I pull out my bow, and load an arrow. "Better be careful. I might, per se, accidentally drop this. Over your head." The one with an axe says. He looks at the other boy. "Right, Braden?" He nods. "James could kill you with his axe, while I kill the other one of you with this." He holds his sword a centimeter from my throat. Lily is pushed up against a tree, and James holds the axe an inch from Lily's neck. I hear growling coming from the nearby cave. The bear mutt! I smirk. "Better run. I think I hear something." Braden smirks. "Then we'll just kill you and run." James swings the axe at Lily, and I shout, "You just decapitated my sister!" "We had better run, or the mutt is going to eat us. We'll leave it a nice little snack." Braden smirks again, and cuts a line into my neck. Just before the world goes black, I hear the bear roaring, and Braden and James running for their lives.
Jak Shaek's POV (D2)
I wake up, and see a young girl smirking at me. She is holding a tracker jacker nest. I shake my head and mouth no, but she ignores me. She drops the nest. It seems to be in slow motion. It crashes down on me, and through the swarm, I see the girl smirking, and she disappears in the trees. It feels like a million syringes being shot into me at once, all over my body. I hallucinate; is that Mom and Dad I see? My vision blurs, and the world spins. The poison is too strong. The Arena disappears.
Man, that cave is popular! Too bad that is the one cave with the mutt. Comment who you want to die next! Or not die, I dunno... XD Sorry updates have been slow, I apologize. ~Amanda
