Justin Serrasal's POV (D11)
We are all on our pedestals, waiting for the timer to get to 0. I see a crossbow. The timer stops and I run towards the Cornucopia. Before I get there, the boy from 10 grabs it. I yank it out of his hands and we both hold it. He loses his grip, and I run into the woods, where I see Lucas, with a backpack and a packet of bolts. "You might need these." I smile. "Thanks." We run deeper into the woods as cannons boom.
Daniel Breyer's POV (D5)
I stand on my pedestal and look at Cassidy, Riane, and Lianne. I gesture to the forest. They nod and Riane gestures to the Cornucopia. I see 2 spears, and a bag. I nod. The timer arrives at 0 and Riane and I run to the Cornucopia as Lianne and Cassidy run into the woods. I take the bag, but Riane doesn't. She is fighting with a boy with AM on his back. "Daniel!" Riane yells. I kick the boy and he crashes to the ground. Riane and I run. "Hurry. That boy... isn't... dead." I nod and we run to where we agreed to meet. We find Lianne and Cassidy there. "We got your spears." Lianne and Cassidy smile. They take one spear each and we hear a scream. "Duncan!" Then a cannon booms. The girl from 11 is dead. We go deeper into the forest and hear more cannons.
Alice Firro's POV (D11)
I run into the woods as Duncan gets a sword. I turn to see if Duncan is coming, and at that moment, the girl from 7 hurls a knife at me. I jump. Bad idea. The knife hits my stomach and I scream. "Duncan!" He runs to me and says, "I love you." I weakly reply, "I love you too." His face is the last thing I ever see.
Peter Ekan's POV (D3)
The boy with BV on his back tries to skewer me alive. I deflect the blade and his blade nearly scrapes his neck. He runs into the woods and I grab Pietra's hand. We run into the woods and Pietra shrieks. "Peter!" There's a shuriken lodged in Pietra's arm and the girl, Thea, from 9 smiles evilly. She begins pulling it out and I stop her. "No. It'll stop the blood from flowing." She nods and stops. We hide and I assess Pietra's wound.
Blake McKayn's POV (D1)
I see Brianna about to be speared, and I push her out of the way. The guy instead hits my arm and he yanks the spear out and I grab Brianna. She screams. "Blake! Your arm!" "I'll be fine! We need to find shelter!" We get to a cave. We crawl in and I notice my arm is bleeding. Brianna gets a plant and wraps it around the wound. "Thanks, Bri."
Samuel Nyv's POV (D7)
I am running and Anisa is following. We hide in the forest. I hear leaves rustling, and a crossbow bolt hits my ankle. Anisa sees a boy with JS on his back. She lunges to attack, but I wince from the pain. It starts bleeding and I hear water rushing. Flood! "Samuel! I'll carry you!" She has tears streaming down her cheeks. "No! You won't make it! Go without me!" She shakes her head. "No! I'm not leaving you!" "You have to! Can't you do this one last thing for me?" She nods. "I'm sorry Samuel. I love you." She runs as the flood washes over me. (Oh btw Samuel got crippled from the bolt, so he couldn't run. :( )
Lauren Pycen's POV (D1)
Lucia and I walk through the woods. We arrive at a cave, and vines hang from the ceiling. Lucia grabs a bunch and begins making a net. "Lauren, make a snare. We can make a trap." I nod and make a snare. Lucia ties them together and I climb the tree. Lucia hides in the shadows and we wait for our first victim.
A few minutes later, a girl with KG on her back walks right into the trap. She is whisked into a net and screams. I begin climbing down the tree, but Lucia shakes her head. I climb back up and pull out a throwing knife. Lucia nods. I throw the knife at her. It hits with deadly accuracy. She screams again and we hear her cannon. We leave so the hovercraft can get her body.
Dun dun dunnn! Wow. I couldn't think of a good variety of ways to make the tributes die, so I unfortunately didn't get rid of as many as I would have liked. Enjoy! Next is the first night. ~Amanda
