Cera Marksson's POV
I wake up to the smell of my mother's sushi. She makes delicious sushi. "Cera! Get up, breakfast is ready!" I noticed Jeremy was asleep, and I woke him up. "Get up, Jeremy! It's Reaping Day." "I'm 11, Cera! I don't have to look nice!" I laughed and walked to breakfast.
The escort had blue hair. "Welcome to the 100th Hunger Games, and 4th Quarter Quell. I'm Sky Nimbus, your escort. For this Quell, two tributes will be reaped, and one family member per tribute will also be placed in the arena. Now, ladies first." She dug around, and pulled one out. "Cera Marksson." I couldn't believe it. Jeremy and I were going into the Games. He's 11! He's too young! A Peacekeeper takes my hand and I walk up on the stage. "Now, the gentlemen. Ethan Knight!" I begin hyperventilating and a Peacekeeper brings me a paper bag. I calm down. Then Sky calls our family. "Jeremy Marksson and..." A Peacekeeper whispers something to Sky. "And Layla Knight!" Ethan's jaw dropped. "My mother!?"

Ethan Knight's POV
I woke up to my mom kissing me on the forehead. "Good morning, Ethan!" I yawned and hugged her. "How are you so cheerful? It's Reaping Day!" She smiles. "Honestly, I don't know." We go eat breakfast together and I pull on a nice shirt.
At the square, our escort, Sky Nimbus, tells us, "One family member for each tribute will be a tribute too!" She says, "Cera Marksson." A Peacekeeper pulls her on stage. She calls me. "Ethan Knight!" I saw Cera hyperventilating. Then Sky calls our family. "Jeremy Marksson and..." A Peacekeeper whispers to Sky. "...only child...parent...tribute." "And Layla Knight!" "My mother!?" My mother was going to be a tribute. Oh, heck no.
