Thanks to BookWorm4Ever26 for letting me use her interview format! You rock, Worm! :-) Also, I don't own Caesar Flickerman.
Lucia Pycen's POV (D1)
I am holding hands with Lauren. We look identical. I notice two identical girls, and two identical boys. A woman tells me it's time for my interview. Caesar Flickerman has been the intervierer for a really long time. This year, his color is blue. He announces, "Lucia Pycen! Have a seat." I sit down, aware of the hundreds of people in the room, watching, and the thousands of people watching on live TV. "I will ask each tribute three questions. Number one! How do you feel having your twin sister in the Games this year?" I respond, "I don't want her here." I turn and see hurt cross Lauren's face. "I want her at home, safe from the Games." He nods. "If you could have chosen someone, from District 1, to be the second tribute instead of Lauren, who would you pick?" I think, then answer, "I hate the Games because innocent teens are slaughtered. I wouldn't want anyone to be here." Caesar nods again. "Final question. If you could say one thing to the folks at home, what would it be?" "I would tell my mom that I miss her and love her so much." "Thank you, Lucia! Now, Lauren Pycen!" I passed Lauren and she gave me a smile.
Lauren Pycen's POV (D1)
I pass Lucia as she leaves her interview, and send her a smile. Here we go... Caesar Flickerman welcomes me and I sit down. "First question. How do you feel having your twin sister in the Games?" I reply, "I wish she was safe. She isn't safe in the arena." Caesar asks, "What is your weapon of choice?" Other tributes might find a weakness. "I'd prefer to keep it a surprise. After all, most of you will be watching, right?" Caesar laughs. "If you could eat one meal of choice in the arena, what would it be?" These questions are really random. "Since you said the arena, something that I can eat for a while." Caesar laughs again. "Thank you, thank you. Blake McKayn!" He is in a gold suit. I meet with Lucia. "You said the same thing I did." We say at the same time. We laugh and sit on a bench.
Blake McKayn's POV (D1)
I walk on stage. Caesar is in blue, and he gestures to the chair. "Hello, Blake. Question number one. How did you feel when you found out your sister was a tribute as well?" "Not well. She shouldn't be here. She isn't able to defend herself in the arena." "What will you do, should you survive and go back home?" "If I survived, Brianna probably did too. I will get a house for me, Brianna, and our father." Caesar smiles. "Unselfish boy. Last question. If a hovercraft offered to take either you or Brianna, who would you send?" "Brianna. I can defend myself. I'm pretty strong." I flex a muscle. Caesar faces the crowd. "How many of you are betting on Blake? Thank you." I walk off stage.
Brianna McKayn's POV (D1)
I've never met Caesar Flickerman before. I had never even been able to bring myself to watch the Games. I sat down and Caesar said, "Are you mad at your brother for placing you in the Games?" I shake my head. "It's not his fault. He can't control who gets reaped." "How have you been preparing yourself for the Games?" "Well, I trained, and I have my brother. He wants to protect me." Caesar smiles. "Yes he does! Now, final question, same as your brother's. If a hovercraft offered to take either you or Blake, who would you send?" "Me. Blake wouldn't be able to live with himself if I was in the arena alone. He doesn't think I have a shot by myself." "Thank you, Brianna. Now, District 2! Anya Shaek!"
Anya Shaek's POV (D2)
Jak hugs me. "Don't worry. You can do this. You used to love talking in front of the class in elementary school." I nod. I hear Caesar call my name. "You got this, Anya!" I walk out and Caesar has me sit down. "Welcome, Anya. Tell me, how do you think your brother feels about being in the Games with you?" "I think he didn't want to, but he is probably glad he is, because he can protect me better if he is with me." "Which District do you think the Victors will come from?" I shrug. "In order to make a guess, I'd have to assess the skills of each individual and average each District's strength." Jak smiles and gives me a thumbs up. "Now, last question. How do you think you'd do in the Games if Jak wasn't there?" What is that supposed to mean? "I've been training. I don't depend on Jak." Caesar nods. "Thank you. Now, Jak Shaek!" Jak high fives me and I sit down.
Jak Shaek's POV (D2)
I pass Anya and sit down next to Caesar. "How do you feel being in the Games with your sister?" "I'm not happy, but at least I can protect Anya in the arena." "Are you, by chance, related to the 78th Hunger Games Victor, Dmitri Shaek?" I nod. "He was my uncle." Caesar gasps. "Do you think you and Anya will be this year's victors, like your uncle?" "I don't know. We could be totally different from him." "Thank you, Jak. Reed Cloune!"
Reed Cloune's POV (D2)
Lily and I are arguing. "Reed, face the facts. Ladies first! Caesar will call me first." "Lily, don't you know? The reaped tributes will come before the others." We bicker for a minute, then Caesar calls my name. I smirk at Lily and walk out. "Reed. How do you feel about your twin sister being here?" I think. "Should I say the truth, or the one that won't hurt?" Caesar laughs and turns to the audience. "What do you think?" The audience yells truth. Oh dear. "Well, truth it is. If she gets mad at you, she could turn on you in the arena!" Yeah, not really encouraging line, Caesar. "At first, I wasn't really happy. She can be really annoying sometimes. But I'm glad to have someone I can trust." "Some twins tend to say the same thing at the same time. Do you and Lily do this?" I shake my head. "Nope." "If you and Lily won the Quell, would you get separate houses or one house in tue Victor's Village?" "One. No need to get two." "Okay, thanks Reed. Lily Cloune!"
Lily Cloune's POV (D2)
I was pouting after Reed showed me off in an argument. He walked off stage and said, "Your turn!" I fake a smile, and walk on stage. "Good evening, Lily. So, how do you feel about being in the arena because your brother got reaped?" "I was mad, but it's not like he could pick the tributes." "How do you feel having your twin brother in the Games with you?" "Like he said, we annoy each other sometimes, but we will protect each other too." "If you could choose a tribute, would you choose Reed?" "No. He isn't happy to be here. It would hurt him more if I was the reason he was here." "Thank you, Lily! District 3! Nina Creyg!" I walk off stage.
Nina Creyg's POV (D3)
Caesar calls my name and I walk to the empty chair there. He asks me, "Nina. How did you feel when your younger sister was forced to be a tribute?" "I was really scared. She doesn't deserve to be a tribute. She can't make it by herself." "Do you have any other siblings?" I shake my head. "I wish I did. I love having someone to talk to." Caesar laughs and asks, "How do you think Naomi feels being in the Games?" "She probably freaked out at first, but now she's glad I will protect her." "Thank you, Nina! Naomi Creyg!"
Naomi Creyg's POV (D3)
I walk out on stage and sit down on the chair. "Hello, Naomi! So, how do you feel being in the Games with your sister?" "I was panicking at first, but I'm glad Nina will be protecting me." "How do you feel about the fact that some tributes this year are out of the usual 12 to 18 age range?" "I don't think that's fair. Some of them might have thought they were safe because they were no longer eligible. Then they got picked." Caesar nods solemnly. "If Nina somehow, was unable to protect you, what would you do?" "If Nina couldn't protect me, then I don't have much of a chance." "Okay. Thanks Naomi. Peter Ekan!" I walk off stage.
Peter Ekan's POV (D3)
Naomi finishes her interview and I walk up to Caesar. " Welcome, Peter. How did you feel when your younger sister was picked to be a tribute?" "I was freaking out. She doesn't deserve this. She can't defend herself." "If Pietra got reaped, and you couldn't go into the arena with her, what would you do?" "I would be scared for her. I would sponsor her as much as possible." " Final question. If a hovercraft offered to take either you or Pietra, who would you send?" "Pietra. I am pretty good with my certain weapon." Caesar nods and waves me off stage. "Thank you, Peter. Pietra Ekan!" Pietra passes me and we fist bump.
Pietra Ekan's POV (D3)
I fist bump Peter as he leaves his interview. I sit down and Caesar asks, "How did you feel when you had to be a tribute?" "I was scared and a little bit angry. I didn't think it was fair that some 11 year-olds had to be tributes because their siblings got reaped." "Are you glad Peter is protecting you?" I nod. "I don't think I would be able to protect myself. Peter has sharp eyes and he's good at keeping watch." "If you stayed home and Peter was a tribute, what would you do?" "I would sponsor him, and hope he would come back home." Caesar nods. " Thanks Pietra. Now, District 4! Cera Marksson!" I walked off stage into Peter's arms.
Cera Marksson's POV (D4)
I walk on the stage and sit on the chair empty for all the tributes. "Good evening, Cera. Tell me, how did you feel when your younger brother had to be a tribute?" "It was terrible. He's so loving and innocent, he doesn't deserve at all to be here." Caesar nods. "In District 4, since it's the fishing district, do you eat seafood a lot?" I shake my head. "We usually give most to other districts, but we get to keep some. Sometimes my Mom makes sushi." Caesar laughs and says, "How do you think Jeremy reacted to your being reaped?" "He was probably scared. We really love each other." Caesar nods. " Thank you, Cera. Jeremy Marksson!" I stride off stage.
Jeremy Marksson's POV (D4)
I hear Cera walk off stage and I walk out. Caesar asks me, "How do you feel being in the Games, even though you aren't twelve yet?" "I was mad. I thought, 'Why do I have to go in? I'm not twelve yet.'" Caesar nods, and asks me, "Are you glad Cera is in the arena with you?" I nod. "She is really smart, and she will do anything to protect the ones she loves." "What do you like most about District 4?" "I like that I can swim in the ocean because it's close to home." Caesar smiles. " Thanks, Jeremy. Ethan Knight!" I walk off stage. Cera is there waiting.
Ethan Knight's POV (D4)
I walk on stage, my face plastered with a false smile. "Ah, welcome. So, Ethan, how do you feel about your mother being a tribute?" "I hated it. If I survived, but my mother didn't, I couldn't live with myself." Caesar nods. "How do you think your father is reacting to this?" "He's probably wanting to take us out. He knows he can't, though." Caesar nods. " How do you think your mother would feel if she survived and you didn't?" "She would probably feel guilty. She might think, 'Why couldn't I save Ethan?'" Caesar nods. "Thank you, thank you. Layla Knight!" I pass my mother as she walks out.
Layla Knight's POV (D4)
I walk out as Caesar calls my name. I sit down. "Good evening, Ms. Knight." "Good evening, Caesar." "How did you react to being a tribute?" "I wasn't really scared, but I was afraid of what could happen to Ethan." Caesar nods. "How do you think your husband is reacting to this?" "He's probably scared. He probably thinks we can't fight." "How do you think your son is taking the fact that you're a tribute?" "He is probably scared. He would be so mad at himself if he survived but I didn't." Caesar nods solemnly. "Thank you, Ms. Knight. That concludes the first segment of our interviews. We'll be back after this brief break!" Caesar and I walk off stage.
The updates for the interviews will be slower because I have to include more. I will still update. ~Amanda
