Riane Haine's POV
I woke up and realized that Lianne, my older sister, was still sleeping. She probably stayed up late watching a movie with Jay. Jay is Lianne's boyfriend. I woke her up and draped her dress over her face. "It's Doomsday. Get ready." My sister and I call Reaping Day Doomsday because usually the people reaped don't survive. "Riane! Lianne! Get your breakfast!" I jogged down the stairs and made myself a plate of eggs. I made a plate for Lianne and she walked down the stairs. "Happy Doomsday, Riane." "You too, Lianne." We ate in silence and then went to the square for the Reaping.
A woman with pink hair introduced herself as Sunset Shore greeted, "Welcome, District 5. For the 100th Hunger Games and 4th Quarter Quell, we will reap two tributes. Then, one family member for each tribute will also be a tribute!" She picked a paper. "Riane Haine!" I see Lianne looking at me, pale and scared. Sunset dug out a paper from the boys ball. "Daniel Breyer." Daniel was rather handsome. I didn't know why I never talked to him before. "Lianne Haine and Cassidy Breyer!" We walked as quadruples to the Justice Building.
Daniel Breyer's POV
I wake up to Cassidy jumping on my bed. "Danny, Danny! Get up!" I push her off and stretch. "Get dressed, Cass." I run my hand through my tousled brown hair and run downstairs. "Hey, Daniel! Breakfast is on the table. "Thanks, Mom." I shove eggs in my mouth. "Goodness, Daniel! We have plenty of eggs! No need to eat so many at once!" I smile and swallow. I run upstairs and brush my teeth.
At the Reaping, the escort Sunset Shore calls my name for the male tribute. I jog to the stage and realize Cassidy is now a tribute as well. I have to protect her. I walk into the Justice Building and sit on the couch.
Muahaha a cliffhanger! Oh well, I'm pumping the updates asap. Breaking news: I think I ship Riane and Daniel now! Comment who you want to win! (I want Rianiel to win.)
