Chapter 15: Forgotten memories

The next day

In the cafeteria

"No. freaking. way." Jimin gasped "You guys kissed, OMG"
I just laughed at his reaction "Yes way"
"And he's leaving?" Taehyung asked.
"Apparently yes" I then sipped my water.

"But at least you'll go with him, right?" Jimin said.
"Only for a week though" I sighed.
"Don't worry, he may come back eventually" Jimin reassured.
"Let's hope so" I said.

"Anyway, where is he going?" Taehyung asked.
"Daegu" I answered.
"Isn't that where he lives?" Jimin said and I just nodded.
"Well, maybe you'll see him there?" Taehyung said.

"I don't know, what if he changed and doesn't remember me plus he's the one who broke our promise" I said.
"We can't be so sure, Yoomin, maybe he will remember you once he sees you" Jimin said.
"Hmm, I'll give it a try then" I smiled.
"Call us if you get kids" Taehyung said.

"Ah Yah!" I shouted at him and he just said "sorry" laughing.
"I still can't believe that you don't remember me" he continued.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't you remember that strange little quiet kid who was always by himself in Daegu Kindergarten?" he asked.

Strange little quiet kid? Seems familiar. Wait, Is he...?
"Wait, you're him?" I gasped and he nodded.
"Wow, you looked so different back then" I said.
"Puberty, I guess" he shrugged.

"So, does that mean you know him?" I asked curiously.
"Well..." he paused. Does he know him?
"C'mon, Tae, you're killing me with the suspense" I complained.
"Yes, I do" he answered. Wait, what? Why didn't he say so?

"And why didn't you say so?" I crossed my arms and he just shrugged "You didn't ask, so"
"Tell me, what's his name?" I asked.
"If I tell you, will you put your hate for him aside?" he said.
"Fine, I will, just tell me" I sternly said.

"I don't think you'll believe me but It's Min Yoongi, please don't hate him" he said.
I couldn't say anything, I just instantly froze like ice. Wait, Min Yoongi? How?
"Please say something, Yoomin" Taehyung pleaded.
"I...I need time to think" I said and then left the cafeteria heading to the rooftop.

As I was walking down the hallway, I was just so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't really pay attention to the world around me. Min Yoongi?

~flashback~(13 years ago)

"Good morning class, today we have a new student, come here now" the teacher said calling me to enter, so I obeyed.
"Would you like to introduce yourself?" she asked and nodded.
"Hello, my name is Kim Yoomin" I shyly said.
"Is that all?" the teacher asked and I just nodded then she told me to take a seat.

As I was almost sitting down, someone pulled the chair away from me causing me to fall to the ground.
I then looked up to see who moved the chair and it was him already laughing at me.

"Yah, yah, yah, no shenanigans in my classroom, get back to your seats" the teacher ordered.
I then went back to my seat angrily murmuring inaudible words.

1 month later

It was recess and I just wanted to have fun outside, so I went to one of the swings and started rocking back and forth slowly.
Suddenly, I felt someone grab and pull the swing backwards and let go with great force.
"Ahhhhh" I was terrified by the sudden movement, so I tried to stop.

I then turned back to see who it was and it was him again laughing at me. I just had enough with his bullying and went to him "Yah!" I shouted.
"What!" he shouted back.
"You really like bullying me, huh" I scoffed.
