Roy exhaled heavily, collecting his belongings in the very dim light of the flashlight on his phone. It was more like a karmic punishment than a simple kick in traffic jams. The house manager went through all the apartments and said that there would be no electricity for several days. Roy sighed heavily before zipping up his bag.

It is good that he had many friends in New York, Roy was even happier that the Twins were also in New York and had to stay for about three more months. It remains for Roy to choose who he wants to live with. You can have Larry, he is a more active twin, easier on the rise, and cooks well, unlike his twin, Roy winced a little, remembering the strange scrambled eggs that Laurent cooked a few years ago. But Laurent is more calm, homely, and cozy. Roy will be able to sleep well. Besides, he didn't have a girlfriend, unlike Larry. And Larry lives in Jersey, Laurent is in New York and Roy had no desire at ten o'clock in the evening to trudge across New York to the suburbs.

The first day.

Roy woke up at about ten in the morning to the aromatic smells from the kitchen. He dragged himself listlessly out of bed and walked into the kitchen, shuffling a little. Roy stared at Laurent's back, not quite sure what was bothering him. A bareback, sweatpants hanging low on the hips, hair gathered in a fluffy bun on the top of the head, tattoos, two rings ... what was wrong? Roy's gaze wandered through his friend's arms, still trying to find the missing puzzle. Tattoos! Exactly. Roy even woke up from the realization of his stupidity, it was so easy. If you couldn't tell one twin from another, then always look at their tattoos. Judging by the arm that had the Do Not Trust Anyone tattoo, Larry was in front of him.

Roy clearly remembered that Larry was not with Laurent when he went to bed in Laurent's guest bedroom. But then how the hell did he end up in Laurent's apartment in the kitchen before Laurent even woke up? Roy jumped a little at the short beep on the coffee maker. Coffee, yes, he needs coffee. Roy poured himself a large mug and sat in the corner of the bar. After a couple of minutes, Roy heard a quiet shuffling towards the kitchen, it was very easy to guess that Laurent finally woke up. Laurent walked slowly into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes sleepily. His fluffy hair was pulled back in the same bun as Larry's and his pants are also very similar to those of his twin, only in a different color. Laurent walked past Roy without even noticing him. He approached the twin and buried his nose in his back, slowly leading it up to the neck and slightly to the side. Laurent rested his chin comfortably on Larry's shoulder as he watched the cooking. Laurent casually hugged his twin and Roy watched in surprise as Larry seemed to go limp in his brother's arms, and judging by the movement of his hand, he put her in his brother's arms. The twins were talking quietly about something.

Roy was not used to seeing them like that. No not like this. Roy had known the twins for years and had become accustomed to their being too close to each other, he had learned not to pay attention to them at all. Roy is used to the fact that Laurent is a more affectionate twin, that he hugs his brother more often or shows concern, but he is not used to the fact that Larry can be like that too. Embarrassedly bite his lip or push his head into his brother's hand, demanding affection and attention, as if he were a cat. Roy was not used to the fact that Larry could sit at the table and have breakfast, playing with Laurent's fingers, as naturally and at ease as if he was breathing or blinking. Roy wasn't even sure if one of the twins caught the way Larry's fingers grabbed Laurent's. Roy is not used to the fact that Larry quickly eats his food pushes the plate away from him and rests his back on Laurent, grabbing his hand while he fiddles with his phone, checking social networks. Roy is not used to feeling like a third person in this loving fraternal idyll.

Second day

Larry disappeared after breakfast as quickly and imperceptibly as Roy and Laurent appeared and spent the whole day playing games and watching various films.
