This is a super short story. A minimum of drama, a little humor. Something close to reality. Just sit back and read this! And do not forget to leave your opinion, it is very important to me!

Laurent himself did not understand how it happened.

Just now, he and Larry were vigorously discussing their birthday, and a moment later, Larry flew out of their mother's house like a whirlwind of wind. While Laurent realized that he and his twin had fought, Larry was halfway to Miami.

For a whole day and a half, Laurent was offended by his brother and waited for at least one message, but all he saw was the stupid stories of other people and the happy twin's face posted on their Instagram.

Mom watched the grumbling son while he collected his things. She didn't even need to ask where he was going this time. It was as clear as the sun rising every morning.

Laurent also posted a story in a bright tracksuit talking about his travel anticipations.

But while Laurent was flying to Miami, Larry flew to New York. Larry was in no mood to talk to his brother, much less when Melissa pressed on him. A girl shouldn't know the real reason for his presence in New York. Not that she was an excuse not to cross paths with her brother. Larry just knew Laurent was going to get mad.

Larry hoped that by their birthday Laurent would come to his senses a little.

Larry hoped that Laurent would fly to New York and he and his friends would cheerfully celebrate their birthday.

But Larry missed one rather important detail. He and Larry were equal to each other. And Laurent could do nasty things even better than Larry.

Therefore, Laurent, half an hour before check-in for the flight, after having written to his twin that he had taken a ticket to New York, changed his mind about flying to New York. Laurent, with a contented grin on his face, turned in his ticket and took a taxi to the nearest decent hotel. Laurent decided he was entitled to his birthday.

Larry kept looking at his watch and constantly checking social media for at least one message from his twin.

When Larry saw a message from Laurent on his Instagram, where the twin congratulated Larry on his birthday and said that he loved him, Larry went berserk. Everyone, absolutely everyone around saw Laurent's love and care for Larry. But only Larry saw the greatest mockery in this. Laurent laughed at Larry, showing that he was a shitty manipulator.

In revenge, Larry tried to have fun with friends and said all sorts of stupid things that he didn't need anyone else except his friends. Nobody believed it, but they pretended that everything was so.

But Larry, deprived of his twin, was unbearable to those around him.

Roy and John tried several times to persuade Laurent to fly to them, but always received in return a detailed itinerary for an erotic walking trip.

And, probably, this stupid behavior of the twins continued until the new year, but fate itself intervened ...

Two days after his birthday, Laurent posted a video on Instagram, where he walked, throwing his hand on a man's shoulder. For many, this man was unfamiliar. But Larry knew him too well. It was Laurent's doctor who had moved to Miami. The doctor treated Laurent's knee a few years ago.

Melissa found Larry packing up.

Larry flew to Miami on the maiden flight. He even knew where to find his twin. When they spent a lot of time in this city, they always lived at the same address.

The next day, they both sat in the doctor's office. Laurent looked somewhere to the side, trying not to pay attention to Larry and the doctor. He already knew everything. Less stress on the knee, keep warm, even training, and no extreme movement. A massager to increase blood flow and relieve swelling like the last nail in the lid of his coffin. But the lid of this coffin was Larry, who listened carefully to the doctor and asked a bunch of questions. Larry didn't care what Laurent thought, his health came first.

After the doctor, they parted ways again.

Laurent sat in his beloved square in Paris, with a cloud of hair on his head and a warm jacket. He sat on a bench and carefully massaged his knee. When it was his turn to dance, he prayed that Larry would not see these videos, which were filmed by people gradually gathering around the street dancers.
