This is my twin!

There's only one rule for dealing with Laurent: Don't take his attention away from Larry any more than necessary. The simplest and most primitive rule that absolutely everyone should follow, except for their mother, but even she did not abuse the attention of one of her sons. This intricate, morbidly chemical bond between twins had too many fine lines for the Bourgeois twins to dance with ease, but for the people around them, it sometimes became too difficult. No one has ever understood why Larry can safely leave for any part of the world, and Laurent has to report almost every minute how he is doing, even if he traveled from one city to another within the same country.

It was difficult for everyone. But Yanis considered himself an exception. He did not see problems in frequent communication with Laurent. He didn't even take Playmo's warning seriously. The man once approached him when Yanis and Laurent met with friends on the square in Paris: "Larry may seem to you the sweetest and most open person you have ever known. It can be an airy pink marshmallow and give you only joy and a good mood. But it will be exactly until the moment when you draw Laurent's attention to yourself a little more than Larry allows. If he decides that you are stealing his twin, then the devil will immediately appear before you. But Yanis, watching Larry for several months, did not believe that he could be dangerous. He saw how the twins quarreled, how Larry himself neglected the communication or desires of the twins. Yanis observed how careless Larry could be in dealing with the twin, whom, according to people around him, he guarded like the apple of his eye. Therefore, he decided to go a little further in communication with Laurent. And that's when things got weird.

Yanis did not notice much in the communication between the twins. Hidden conversations, glances, and more. It all began to appear imperceptibly and smoothly. And only Laurent could tell that Larry was really angry because he saw Yanis as a rival. But no one asked Laurent, and he tried to stay away from all the problems. She and Larry set some boundaries a long time ago, and as long as Larry stays out of their way, Laurent can mind his own business and not get involved in the twin's business.

It all started with a dance studio. More precisely from one evening in the dance studio. Out of the blue, a few friends of the twins, the twins themselves, Playmo and Yanis agreed to meet at one of the dance studios in Paris just to have fun, dance, practice, and maybe have a joke dance battle with a huge box of pizza instead of the grand prize, but that's how it goes.

They danced for several hours in a row and, rather tired, decided to take a break. Larry comfortably threw his arm over Rubix's shoulder and discussed something with Playmo while Laurent told some funny story to Yanis. Only Yanis. The guy was proud that Laurent chose only him and threw petty victorious glances at Larry, exactly until the moment when Larry came up and put his hands under the twin's arms, hugging him by the stomach and pulling him like his favorite plush toy. He ran his nose up Laurent's spine and rested his chin comfortably on his shoulder. Yanis tried to ignore Larry and focused on Laurent's story. But suddenly the music changed. This was the same instrumental music with a rhythmic part. Larry placed his fingers on Laurent's shoulders and pretended to be interested in his story as well, beginning to quietly beat the rhythm on his brother's shoulders. His movements became more and more like a dance of his fingers, as if he directed his energy through Laurent, forcing her to obey. And Laurent followed her, twitching his shoulders in time with Larry's fingers, connecting more and more of his body to the movements until he turned completely. It was at this point that everyone in the studio lost the twins for a while. They liked to play with music, and they seemed to fall into their world, created only for the two of them. They smiled at each other and danced in sync, communicated without words, just caught the movements and continued or supplemented them, more and more leaving in some kind of this world. Yanis was left with nothing in just a few seconds as if only now realizing how unimportant he was to Laurent.

But it didn't get any better. Larry was always there whenever Yanis and Laurent were alone. Yanis seriously began to suspect that all this talk about the feelings of his twin was not a joke. Larry found them even at gas stations, forcing Yanis to get out of the car and sit in the back seat. Larry especially liked to delve into Laurent's things in front of Yanis, even if he didn't need anything there.

But the most disgusting was the incident at the workshop. It was just a warm-up. A set of standard old-school hip-hop links that were sometimes used by twins. Larry just walked up and down the hall along the mirror. He just walked, swaying to the beat of the music, and sometimes joked with friends who came to his workshop. Larry looked as if nothing bothered him, but Yanis caught strange fleeting glances. And here is another bunch, but some other one with a too-fast change of positions and a twisted transition between leg movements. Not everyone was able to cope with this task. Larry just stood and watched the work of the twin's feet, and at the moment when Yanis made another mistake, Larry simply stood opposite Laurent and they mirrored each other, following the same rhythm and maintaining full musicality, repeating this movement several times. Having made a turn around his axis, Larry left the movement and, throwing a long victorious look at Yanis, offered to divide the dancers into two parts.

But even that wasn't the end. Everything ended in one moment. Larry has not been feeling very well in recent days, on all levels, both emotionally and physically. Laurent tried not to be a mother hen, but it turned out to be too difficult, especially when Larry became unusually clingy. They had spent the last couple of days in their mother's living room on the couch with the TV remote because Larry had stuck to the twin's body and didn't want to let him go anywhere. On the third day, Yanis called Laurent to remind him of a meeting in Paris in a couple of hours.

- I will not come. Larry is not feeling well. – Laurent tried not to speak very loudly, so as not to wake the twin dozing on his chest.

- But Laurent, we agreed! You said it would work!

- In any case, only you will dance in this video. Larry is not feeling well and I can't leave him alone.

- Yes! An adult thirty-year-old man cannot be alone for a couple of hours, especially in his mother's house! Laurent is funny! I need you!

- I'm sorry, what did you say?

- Lauren, I...

- No need. I will never choose between anyone and Larry. And it seemed to me about such a simple thing you know. So long, Yanis. - Laurent hung up the bell and leaned his head back against the sofa. His fingers dug into Larry's hair and gently scratched the twin's head.

- I know that you are not sleeping and that you heard the whole conversation. - Larry opened one eye, trying to look guilty. - And I know that you feel well today.

- But you will still stay with me and we will watch movies?

- Yeah, but you're still a petty, jealous bastard. - Laurent looked slyly at the twin.

- He deserved it. - Larry rolled his eyes and smiled happily, clearly feeling no guilt at all. He just snuggled closer to Laurent, burrowing deeper into the twin's embrace, and started flipping through Netflix in search of a movie they both liked. He will always win. The devil may not do bad things. It is enough for him not to have a conscience and feelings of guilt to get what he wants and show others their true place. And it is quite obvious that it is not near Laurent. This place is firmly occupied until his death by Larry.
