Stupid twins

This story was written almost three years ago. Recently, I have had quite a few complaints about myself and I don't know why I started going through my old files and found some rather funny stories, and here is one of them. I edited it a bit, but it still might seem badly written. Tell me what you think of her, your opinion is important to me!

Despite the rather frequent arguments, the twins rarely quarreled and even less often openly ignored each other. And the most ironic in such moments is that the reason for such a strong quarrel was usually something insignificant. Tension was springing between the twins, and everyone who now worked with the twins tried to pretend that everything was in order, although several people dared to ask Eleni what was happening, the assistant herself did not know anything: the twins flew to Paris in absolute love and harmony between each other but returned almost ignoring each other. Eleni could bet that the only time the guys could talk to each other was if there was turbulence during the flight.

Larry knew for sure that his twin was alarmed by something, all this silence between them was a ridiculous way for his twin to show that there was a serious problem. Larry suspected that it all started after Melissa called him while they were in Paris, the day before flying to New York. It was strange - his brother had never shown a bad attitude towards a girl before. But what else could Larry think if a short conversation with Mel on the phone and the promise to spend more free time with her erased all of Laurent's good mood?

And Larry knew his twin well enough, Laurent never showed his displeasure with people for no good reason. And he also knew that Lau would be alone with everything, if only he, Larry, was happy. Laurent is stubborn as a flock of sheep and will never, even under the most severe torture, tell the truth, unless he wants to.

Laurent, in turn, experienced three global crises at once.

The first and most basic: in Paris, he turned to a doctor he knew with his knee and got very strange results. Dr. Anglade also gave him the advice of a doctor in New York who could help with minimal disruption to his career.

The second, which was also at the top of the list, is Jessica. They have argued too much lately and could not find at least some kind of compromise in their relationship. Laurent had the impression that they spoke two different languages, and if he was ready to learn her language, then the girl stubbornly did not want to at least look at his alphabet. The situation was significantly worsened by a post on Instagram from one rather touchy girl who spoke about a great night with him. But this was not true, and Jess rested everything she could on this post as if she was looking for a reason for a quarrel or did not want to put up at all. Laurent was so tired of proving something to his girlfriend that he refused to help Larry, his twin was present at the moment when Laurent gave a confident refusal to that persistent girl.

Well, like the icing on the cake, Melissa. His brother's girlfriend. All the time that she and Larry were together, Laurent simply put up with her constant presence, he even got used to her a little. But Laurent was annoyed by how Melissa looked like a wolf in her relationship with her twin. Laurent only recently realized that the girl was incredibly jealous of Larry for him. It was very stupid of her. And shortly before Paris, while Larry was taking a shower, Laurent and Melissa had a conversation. An unpleasant and completely inappropriate conversation undermines Laurent's self-confidence. Mel hinted that he clings too much to his brother and that all this manifested love and affection in public looks ambiguous. Everything natural to them since childhood now looked too much, especially for horny women and haters, and this puts a lot of pressure on Larry. The latter was like a stabbing. The only lever that could act on him. It's like a bad ending to a drama. And when Mel called Larry the day before leaving for New York, Laurent remembered their conversation, the girl's words were spinning in his head in endless repetition.
