Larry was very good at ignoring all the nonsense that almost everyone around him, especially on their team, said about him and his twin. Over the years, the talk had increased and the excitement in the team had only increased. Due to the number of projects the twins had taken on, they could no longer spend so much time with their dance team and put out every fire that Deyvron and Reggie set with great pleasure. And in the last three years, words stopped being just words, they grew into real hatred and outright hostility. The mistake of this "sweet couple" was that Larry and Laurent Bourgeois were very good at ignoring the hatred directed at them. They transformed this negative feeling into their victory with the ease of a skilled magician. Larry and Laurent knew how to surprise people. It was not on purpose, but rather the specificity of their work.

They say it right, do what you love, and you will never work a day. That is exactly what he and Laurent did. Do what they love. Not even that, they did what their lives would have no meaning without – they danced. Dance and music, as they grew older, grew into their lives like another organ. Music always pulsed in their blood and in every free minute, they danced, even if there was no music to hear. Their unique hearing remembered every beat, every note, and every word. They could imagine what would happen next in a track after three seconds of listening.

Larry enjoyed the time with his twin. Sometimes he still remembered that absurd conversation with Reggie, when that dumb ass suddenly said that now, with the way Larry was acting, even Laurent would not want to support him. Larry then threw his head back laughing heartily. It was so funny and ridiculous, that Larry even had tears in his eyes from laughter.

Laurent... Laurent was his fortress. Many believed that they were each other's kryptonite, but in reality, everything was much more confusing and complicated. Larry loved Laurent so much that sometimes it scared him. Laurent was the only one who never asked Larry about his strange behavior. Didn't ask a million idiotic questions when Larry didn't act like Larry. He looked at him with his dark, flickering eyes, waited for a weak nod from Larry, and went about his own business. Laurent never needed to explain anything, tell anything, or repent. Laurent didn't care what Larry did. Laurent didn't care why Larry was once again diving into himself and pulling his soul out of his body. They never tired of each other's company, but when they once again began to feel like one person, they bought tickets to different ends of the world and tried to ignore each other's existence for at least a couple of days. Necessary therapy, so as not to go crazy once again. And they never had to apologize to each other. They didn't have to explain their stupid, thoughtless actions or emotional purchases. They didn't need obvious gifts to show that they belonged to each other. But they still had a few matching valuables, simple signet rings, crosses, and a rather expensive pendant with the inscription Les Twins. They didn't need anything to show anyone or each other that they were together. It was enough that they had the same faces. You can't look like someone else any more than you can look like your reflection in the mirror. They knew how to be different from each other and how to look the same. And they also perfectly mastered the art of fooling people by playing the game "Which of us is in front of you now?" They were so good at this game that sometimes even their mother couldn't answer the question correctly. And all that crap Reggie was spouting about how they would one day (soon enough) stop working together just didn't make any sense if you thought about it with your brain. But Reggie didn't do that.

After the lockdown, because the twins had been together for too long, they couldn't normally separate even for a while. The twins again took separation extremely painfully, as if they had gone back 10 years. However, the second time around, it turned out to be much easier, and they managed it in a couple of years. Of course, there were a couple of dramatic scenes and one huge scandal, but by the start of Beyoncé's tour, they were in perfect harmony with themselves and with each other.
