Larry slowly regained consciousness. His head was buzzing, and his body felt sickly and alien. It seems that this is exactly the feeling you experience when an asphalt paver passes over you. Larry tried to move, but his movements were stiff, his right hand seemed to be numb, and only the tips of his fingers were felt. Larry finally dared to slowly open his eyes, only to be surprised to find that he was in a hospital room and not at his mother's house. Dawn was barely breaking outside the window, but the last thing Larry remembers was driving his car to Paris when the clock showed around two o'clock in the afternoon. So he lay unconscious for more than ten hours, but what happened? Larry, wincing at the pain in his neck, turned his head to look around his room, and immediately came across Laurent's cold and aloof gaze. The twin sat on a hard and uncomfortable hospital chair. I wonder how Laurent could maintain such a calm aura while looking at his twin lying in a hospital bed. There was neither concern nor sympathy in his look, there was not that dramatic experience that was usually always present. Larry could tell that Lo was tired. Larry felt inside himself how cold and distant Laurent was from him and partly Larry's fault. But when Larry opened his eyes a moment ago, a tiny glimmer of hope pierced that his stay in the hospital would make their reconciliation easier.

And now, looking into Laurent's indifferent eyes, Larry realized that this time the breakdown in their relationship was much more serious. Laurent didn't even change his gaze when he saw Larry looking at him. At the edge of Larry's mind was a very important thought that Larry had overlooked.

Laurent must be in New York! Here's what Larry missed.

Just before Laurent left for America, they had a rather serious quarrel. Larry was also supposed to fly with Laurent, but he changed his mind at the very last moment. Well, as he changed his mind, he once again misunderstood everything, made hasty conclusions, and decided that Laurent wanted to be alone in this major project. Larry tells Laurent to go to hell, to fly where Laurent wants and do what he wants, and that now Larry does not care what Laurent does, that he is no longer concerned with the business of Les Twins!

That was a few days ago and if Larry spent about 10 hours in the hospital, then this important meeting should take place tomorrow. But flying from New York to Paris takes at least 8 hours!

And despite their quarrel, Laurent is still here ... Larry sighed heavily and immediately opened his mouth in a silent scream as if his ribs were bound with iron hoops.

Laurent suddenly spoke to Larry:

- Your right arm is broken, and your ankle is sprained. Severe bruising of the ribs and a slight concussion of the head. A few more bruises and minor scratches. - Larry froze as if the coldness of Laurent's voice had frozen him. - What were you thinking about, once again exceeding the speed limit? The police said you were lucky you just crashed into the fence when you lost control of your stupid car. You're just lucky that this time, you buckled up. You're just lucky that all your injuries are easily repairable and will only limit your activities for a couple of weeks. But fuck, Larry, what were you thinking? -  Larry looked at his twin like a frightened rabbit. Larry has seen Laurent like this before, but this is the first time this has been directed at him. And Laurent scared Larry. With his determination, his calmness, and indifference. He simply listed Larry's injuries, without any emotion. Laurent was so calm as if Larry had never been his twin and he didn't care if his twin got better or not. Laurent acted like he'd done exactly what Larry told him to, got out of his life.

- Laurent... - Larry didn't plan to cry. He just wanted to say something, but his voice was barely firm enough to call out the twin's name. Laurent chuckled and relaxed back in his chair.

- Don't, Larry. Now it won't work. Your tears and plaintive voice are no longer trumps up your sleeve. You don't have them at all, remember? You kicked me out of your life. Said I'm a pain in the ass, always telling you what to do. You said you hated me - Laurent's every word hit Larry right in the heart. You said you weren't important to me. And what ... - Laurent closed his eyes as if remembering exactly every offensive word that Larry said. Laurent looked at Larry openly, letting him see all the pain he had caused him. - That all I have achieved is just because we are twins. The only reason why you're still with me is that your participation brings a lot of money.
