Larry's tiny apology to Laurent, right after he woke up, did little to change their relationship. It simply allowed two deeply wounded people to exist together in each other's space.

Larry still did not understand his brother's motives when he began to receive contracts only for himself. Laurent was still very offended by his brother for his hurtful words, distrust, and neglect of him as a person. The tension between the twins was so strong that you could touch it with your hands. Five days. That's how many days the twins were in the hospital. Laurent's physical wounds healed very well, during these five days most of the bruises and bruises began to disappear, the swelling subsided, and small wounds began to heal. The only problem was the leg and the stomach pierced by a knife. Laurent hissed at every uncomfortable movement, and until he could walk on two legs himself. He loved and hated his condition at the same time.

On the sixth day, the doctor allowed Laurent to be taken home. Still following Laurent's instructions, Larry drove his brother to a Paris apartment, although their mother's house would have been much better. At Mom's house, Larry would have had a chance to get away from Laurent. But being alone with him, Larry risked too much. Therefore, he was stubbornly silent.

Larry no longer knew how to handle his twin. How to start a conversation. They didn't talk for more than half a year and now...Laurent doesn't seem to be going to help start reconciling. Like he doesn't need it.

Both twins regretted having started even one conversation because they began to walk in circles. Too overwhelmed with guilt, Larry couldn't defend himself at first and simply listened to the twin's reproaches until he hit rock bottom. And he began to defend himself. For those three days that they lived nearby, not a single good morning ended with a full breakfast, it all ended in a full-fledged fight. This process has become cyclical, they still could not reach this point of contact, where their opinions can converge. Where one will think the same as the other.

- Larry!

- What Laurent! What else do you want to tell me? Remind me again of my failed relationship. Blame my stupid sex life for missing out on small projects?

- What are you carrying? You worked in Portugal yourself, remember? And also advertised the designer's T-shirts! And when I received these contracts, I asked you how you feel about it! And you said it's all right! You said you don't care!

- But I didn't care!

- Then you should have said it! - Not to play this stupid game where I have to guess your desires! Laurent winced painfully as he sat back down on the couch.

- Are you okay? - Larry immediately sat down next to his brother, gently running his hand over his back.

- Yes, the seam just pulled. Laurent leaned back carefully on the back of the sofa. Larry helped his brother put his feet up on the coffee table and covered it with a blanket.

- We'll go to the doctor's tomorrow. The doctor said that the stitches should be checked every few days and the bandage on the arm should be changed. Jerk - Larry snorted, getting up from the couch, he needs to attend to dinner. Larry needs something to do to bring his morale back to normal. Another debate is over for today.

They quarreled in a circle, the same thing over and over again. This annoyed both of them, but they couldn't stop. They had a chance to sort out their relationship.

Larry didn't expect the apology to change anything drastically between them, but he hoped the ice would break a little.

Larry poured a glass of mango juice and carried it to Laurent, who entered the room just as his twin was talking to someone on the phone. And what he heard made Larry instantly furious.
