It's always darker before the dawn

Larry enjoyed changing into clean clothes after taking a shower. She and Laurent have just returned from filming in one of their old acquaintance's projects. The twins were surprised when Ryan called them a couple of months ago and offered to take part in the filming in honor of the anniversary. Finding the time to participate proved to be quite difficult. The twins managed to carve out only a few days, taking into account all the flights. Larry was pleased with the past working day, he saw a lot of old friends and acquaintances, he and Laurent divided the studio in half, greeting a huge number of people and answering the same large number of questions, in particular, asking them the same thing.

Feeling ready to go out and have dinner with his twin, Larry strapped on his fanny pack and headed to his twin's next door.

He had just found Laurent walking around the living room in nothing but low-slung trousers, barefoot and with a phone to his ear. Larry snapped his fingers to get the twin's attention and pointed indignantly at the clock face. They didn't have much time. Laurent rolled his eyes and turned away from his brother, but the call ended immediately, tossing the phone on the couch and heading for the shower.

Larry, muttering irritated curses to himself, collapsed on the couch and began to play some kind of meaningless game. A little over 10 minutes later, Larry out of the corner of his eye caught how Laurent came out of the bathroom wrapped in one towel and went to the bedroom to get dressed. The moment Laurent was in the bedroom, his phone came to life. Larry saw the caller's name, so he wrinkled his nose in disgust and leaned back against the couch. He could answer the call from Laurent's phone. This is a normal practice for them, calls for work, even when their friends called, it was all in the order of things. But Larry, in this particular situation, expressed a complete protest and did not want to fully support Laurent's desire to run a separate business. But when the call turned into a voice message, Larry could not hold his curious nose and get into his brother's correspondence. It turns out that Laurent wasted no time at all. He already had several ready-made offers from the Milan agency, where he was offered to advertise, shoes, clothes, and the stores themselves. He also saw the last message Reggie sent to Laurent a few hours ago, inviting them to meet on February 28th. Larry's heart sank painfully. The last thing that could happen in their world is Laurent's betrayal.

Larry wanted to open the correspondence with Reggie in full, but then a fully assembled Laurent came out of the bedroom.

- Let's go, my brother, dinner is waiting for us. Laurent grabbed his brother's hand and pulled him towards him, he did not understand why the twin was in such prostration.

Larry all this time tried to put together a mosaic in his head, but all the time some pieces were missing. For example, why would Laurent date Reggie? And why didn't Laurent say he was in correspondence with him? What can all this mean? Larry was running out of patience. So many things have happened in the last six or seven months. Larry had become disillusioned with many of the people he had worked with or befriended for years. All his worldview, built over fifteen years, went downhill and rolled into hell. Laurent remained the only constant. Larry looked at the actively chewing Laurent, still not understanding what was happening. And he didn't know where to start asking.

At some point, Laurent went to the toilet and asked Larry to take the calculation from the waiter. But just as Larry looked up to look for the waiter, his phone rang. Larry was very surprised by the caller.

- Hi Lylah, is Lilo all right? - Larry started with the main thing. Lylah wouldn't just call across multiple time zones.

- Yes, everything is just fine. I call to share our pride. - Larry's lips broke into a smile.

- Yes, what did our girl do?

- She went to the selection in criminals today cru kids ! - Lylah's voice rang with happiness, but the smile from Larry's face slipped instantly - Larry! Larr! Are you okay?
