The ship pulled into the docks as Winter looked around in awe. Her adventure was to begin.
"HANDS ON DECKS!!" a loud voice boomed. Winter turned her head to see a pirate ship going into the docks.
"It's Captain Silwood," Zed nodded at the captain who nodded back.
"They used to be good mates," Janet whispered. Loud footsteps announced the arrival of Captain Silwood as his loud laughter rang clearly.
"Howdy mate?" he smacked Zed's back in greeting making Zed choke and kicked the captain.
"Geez. Can you be more gentler?" Zed demanded. The captain laughed.
"Ay, matey. Ain't gonna happen. I is the cap'n," he smirked before holding Janet's hand and kissing the back of it.
"Hello, fair lady," he murmured greeting Janet who flushed slightly. Zed rolled his eyes and pulled the captain away.
"Tis my wife, cap," he scolded. The captain laughed slightly rubbing his neck awkwardly before noticing Winter.
"Ah. Who is this young child?" the captain asked smiling at the girl.
"This is Winter," Janet patted Winter slightly. The captain smiled nodding before turning away to his crew.
"So where are we going?" Winter turned to Zed who watched the captain frowning.
"We're going to a tavern," Zed nodded towards a huge clump of buildings. Janet smiled softly.
"Black Skull," Janet sighed dreamily exchanging looks with Zed.
"It was were we met," Zed explained. Winter nodded slowly.
"Guess what! The 'L' family and their cousin is coming here," Janet clapped her hands excitedly.
"Yes, yes. Their uncle met and talked with the Chosen Ones before!" Zed smiled leading the girls to the tavern. Fast medieval music sang from inside the tavern. Lights flashed and voices spoke from inside. Zed pushed the door open and a rush of people passed them.
"Woah. Busier than ever," Zed mumbled. The couple led and Winter walked towards a tall, buff man who stood behind the counter.
"Gruff! How are ya mate?" Zed boomed over the loud music. Gruff turned to the three people in front of him with a giant grin.
"Good!" he replied in a gruff voice nodding at the three.
"The 'L' family and their cousin is coming here right now," Gruff nodded at the four people heading their way. Loira spotted Winter and jumped in joy.
"WINNYYYYYYY!!" she tackled Winter who nearly fell flat on the floor at the impact.
"Hi Lorey," Winter pushed her friend off gently. Loira sighed dramatically.
"It's been soooo long," Loira beamed nodding at her family.
"That's my Uncle Lovei. My brother Loquin and my cousin Francis," Loira pointed to her family who nodded at the girls before turning to the couple and Gruff. Loira giggled lightly.
"Oh my gawd! Francis was staring at you for so long," Loira laughed. Loquin appeared beside his sister and hugged Winter.
"You are sooo adoreeeeble," Loquin gushed. Winter laughed awkwardly. Francis pulled Loquin away not able to hide the annoyance.
"Geez, Loq, I swear you got your dumbness from Lovei," Francis scowled. Loquin laughed nervously.
"You're still scary as heck, France," Loquin rubbed his neck. Francis rolled his eyes and gently pulled Winter towards him. Loira watched them with love hearts in her eyes.
"Ewww. Loey. You look horrible like this," Loquin interrupted her dreams. Loira glared at her brother smacking him.
"You are soooo rude," she grumbled glancing at Winter and Francis who were conversing.
"Ah. A ship. Let's hope your ship sails," Loquin smirked at his sister staring at her horrified face.
"Don't you dare ruin it," she hissed.
"Winterrrrr, want some fizzy drinks?" Loquin pulled Winter towards the counter. She eyed the lemonade before nodding her head.
"Yeah," Loquin grabbed the drink handing it to her.
"Enjoy," he bowed making Winter laugh. Francis ran his hand through his head hissing in annoyance. Loira smirked.
"Jealous much?" she asked. Francis narrowed his eyes before rolling them.
"Shut up," he muttered. Winter walked back to him sipping her drink.
"What's with the sourness?" she asked. Loira laughed at Francis who rolled his eyes.
"Nothing, amour," he replied wrapping his arms around Winter possessively. As the siblings glared at each other.
Meanwhile, the adults watched their interaction.
"Isn't it adorable?" Janet smiled. Lovei beamed squealing and turned to Gruff who backed away in alarm.
"YAYYY! SHIP!" he bounced up and down. Zed facepalmed and Janet laughed at Gruff's horrified face when Lovei clung onto his arms. Soon laughter sounded. The adults turned to see the children laughing at Gruff and Lovei.
"Jeez. You ruined my image," Gruff huffed as Lovei gushed at the laughter.
"Duh," Lovei walked over to the children conversing with them. Zed wrapped his arms around his wife kissing her forehead.
"Wishing for children?" he asked. Janet sighed sadly. Gruff nodded at the couple filling wine for the sad couple.
"Drink away," Gruff nodded. Winter sipped her drink and narrowed her eyes at a dark figure in the corner of the room. Francis noticed and pulled Winter closer to him not letting go his arm.
"Do you know what that is?" she asked turning to Francis. They were extremely close together.
"He's Soshie. One of the human turned vampire," Francis hissed lowly. His eyes narrowed to slits at the figure in the shadow.
"What the hell is he doing here?" Lovei questioned noticing the figure. Francis growled lowly. Lovei nodded at Winter and the siblings to calm him down before he pounce. Whilst the children were calming Francis down. Gruff stared at the figure with distaste.
"We need to alert the king," Lovei mumbled. Gruff sighed.
"King or not. He still isn't thaat good enough to stop such things. Those pesks never listen," Gruff grumbled scowling. The two men glanced at the children to see. Francis burying his face in Winter's neck to calm himself down.
"Sheeesh. Pesks really affects the feral alpha," Gruff nodded. Lovei grinned slightly.
"Winter's his mate I think. He's really possessive over her," Lovei laughed. Gruff nodded before glancing at the figure and his eyes widened.
"The pesk is gone. This is bad," Gruff cursed grabbing a banana and mumbled a spell making the banana a phone and rang the king.
"Your majesty. A Pesk has been spotted in the tavern. He disappeared before we can catch him. He's on the loose. His pack may attack us and the human. He really is dangerous. I can't believe Pesks are a long lost relative of the Villains," Gruff hissed. Vynx sighed on the other line.
"Right. I'll send my guards on patrol. See you,"
