He had been bored the entire week. There was absolutely nothing to do on his nights when he got home, and only so much television and videos he could watch. The Wednesday morning that he spent with Sunshine and Nikita was the only fun that he had. Lou couldn't really talk to him that much. He mainly just called him to tell him that he was doing just fine since he knew that he would be worried. Other than that, he would talk a little about a concert that he was getting ready to do and all the things that he's seen so far. It was nice to see him happy, even if he did miss him to tears.

Valentino liked being alone, he really did. But there was only so much he could take before he was bored beyond measure. His solitude only made him more lonely, and that led to thoughts he'd rather not deal with. Because they tended to be about a certain someone that made his heart race more than anyone ever did before.

He couldn't help but enjoy talking to him. He stopped trying to avoid him on his lunches at work a long while ago. The man just seemed like a breath of fresh air when he was able to talk to him. And recently, when he wasn't able to do anything else, he wound up daydreaming about that sweet voice and those piercing blue eyes.

He hated it. It was annoying, and frustrating. Love only went one way with his family. And he didn't want to deal with the heartache. No matter how much this man was begging him to differ.

Valentino didn't know what to think about with all these new emotions. But that wasn't what he was going to be pondering that night. The moon was out, the clouds as cleared as they can be, and it was time to have some fun.

"Okay," he sat down at the table. "What's on the agenda, and why are you already plastered without me?"

"Because you were so late," Brittany rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to sit and wait forever for you, Pinky."

"You told me to come at this time, bitch."

"You're the bitch for whining and complaining!" the blonde laughed. "I got off work early today."

"And you couldn't send me a text?"

"No, Fashionista. Because then you would be more bitchy than you are right now," she told him. "You would be all whiny about not even being able to get your outfit ready or your makeup on or something like that."

"I don't wear makeup, Britt," Valentino shook his head. "And it really doesn't take as long as you think to put this on."

"You look hot," she complimented. "Kinda like a stripper, only without the ass cheeks out for everyone to see."

"You better take that back," Valentino gave her the evil eye. "I only strip for the ones who make it worth it."

"Alright, Pinky," she put her hands up. "I'm only kidding. You know me."

Valentino rolled his eyes at her. Brittany was a sassy woman that he had befriended at a bar one night when he was alone and bored. When Leo couldn't make it out for a drink or two, he knew this batty chick would. She always said yes to a bar night. And she always made it worth it, no matter how long you stayed.

"So," he changed the subject. "What happened to Jessy? She still happily dating the pencil pusher?"

"Oh, she's so in love," Brittany rolled her eyes this time, much more dramatically than him. Liquor made her a lot more talkative and expressive. It was hilarious to watch. "She still texts me and talks to me from time to time. And Solomon still gets his hair done by her, but she, like, never wants to hang out anymore."

Anyone who stayed in this city long enough knew of Solomon. Not only was he a worker for one of the best AC and plumbing companies in the state, he also had modeled for a few things for the city. If you walked around downtown enough, you'd either see him on the roof of a building or walking around with his boyfriend and sister. He looked really happy.
