He looked so embarrassed with those flowers in his hands. And the brownie crumbs only made it funnier when the crowd looked at him. Casimir couldn't help but smile at the scene. He had been looking for him ever since they got separated. There were so many people trying to talk to the both of them. Most were just pleasantly surprised that they had somehow been able to create a masterpiece out of a disaster. He made sure to mention Valentino's name every time. He knew he would enjoy it.

"I'll wait for the Garter Toss," Valentino said, handing the beautiful bouquet over. Then Casimir watched as the bride ran back on stage with humor on his face. She was having a blast. He didn't wish that this was the best day of her life, because she still had plenty of life to live, but he hoped that this would be a day in which she never forgot. Her husband was getting bombarded with his family trying to make him drink as much as possible, laughing like drunken sailors. He seemed annoyed, but still happy to be around them all. It had probably been a long time since they had seen each other in a while.

Casimir, however, was happy to see the man that he must have lost an hour ago, or so it felt.

"There you are, Darling," he held him from behind. Everyone was back to focusing on the stage, none of them even catching a whisper of them with all the cheers. "I've been looking everywhere for you."

"I doubt I was that hard to find," the slender man chuckled, leaning into him ever so subtly. "Where's Lou? I thought you were talking to him and Ichika about something with the flowers or the lights."

"They're busy enjoying the weather and the stars," he answered, kissing his cheek. "It's a shame they missed you catching the bouquet."

"Oh, finally," he sighed. "Something he didn't witness that he could use to embarrass me when I least expect it."

"I should have taken a picture of it," he teased him. "You looked cute with those crumbs on your face."

"You act like they didn't have a camera to record the whole thing," Valentino said.

"Perhaps I should see about getting a copy of it then."

"It wasn't cute, Mir," he argued. "It was embarrassing."

"That's what made it cute," he laughed lowly, pulling him closer. He started to whisper in his ear then. "Don't worry, Darling. You still look sexy every other time. Especially in the suit you're wearing tonight."

Valentino tried to elbow him right after he said that. But he just used it as an excuse to hold him tighter. While doing that he grabbed the brownie in the man's hand and took a huge bite.

"You asshole!" Valentino complained. The both of them were laughing now as they fought for the dessert. It felt great to act like kids at times like these. And Valentino was the only one who could make him feel so young. When all the stress brought them down, that was the best time to bring back their youth and let loose.

And Valentino looked gorgeous like this.

"Alright, Groomsmen!" the announcer grabbed their attention. "Come on over! It's time for the Garter Toss!"

"Good luck," Casimir winked at him and started to push him towards the stage.

"This is going to be ridiculous," he gave him one last hug before heading towards the stage. The other groomsmen weren't that far away. It didn't take long for it to begin.

The Garter Toss was always fun. He had participated in a few of them throughout his life, both with his job and as a guest at old friend's weddings. He was never the lucky man to catch it, but it was fun to be a part of. He used to think to himself that if he caught one, it was a sign to settle down finally. That whoever he was with, whenever he caught it, would be his one and only, shown through such a small game of catch. It was a silly thing to think, but he had heard worse. Now that he had grown a little older, he was glad that he never caught one. He would have been much more miserable than just a year ago. Getting over Amy was the most painful experience he ever had. But he'd go through it all again if he had to just to get right back to this moment. That pain was worth it, he supposed. Without it, he'd never know just how happy he could be.
