The wedding turned out great, even without Stacy and Ned. They decided not to show up after what happened yesterday. It was ridiculous, but Sunshine was more happier than upset at their decision. They both lost a great friend that day. They lost Valentino's friendship, of course, but he doubted that they cared about that at all. He didn't care anymore. He wasn't going to stay mad about it. It's not like he was ever going to see them or talk to them again anyway. Maybe sometime down the line, years later, they'll come back out of the woodwork with a level head on their shoulders. But for right now, he was perfectly fine with them staying out of his life.

"I almost forgot what the color theme for this thing was going to be," Daniel said, straightening his suit out. He was still a groomsman, along with Leo and a few other friends of theirs. Nikita had also asked one of his cousins to be with them. He didn't talk that much and had the straightest stone face Valentino had ever seen, but he was a good guy.

He could only imagine how many girls were going to fawn over the guy. Sunshine's family had a majority of women, and they all acted like teenagers when it came to guys. They even hit on him before, which was awkward as fuck. Because even when he told them that he was gay, they always said that they could still have 'fun' or that they could turn him straight.

He could never roll his eyes hard enough hearing that.

"Me too," Leo laughed, "Who would have thought that blue and orange would actually work together?"

"Don't look at me," Valentino shrugged. "I just know buildings. Humans are built a lot differently."

"That reminds me," Daniel looked around. "You did a great job designing this little thing with the tarps. It looks like a princess castle, only a tent version."

"Thanks," he smiled. He might not like Daniel all too much, but he was glad that he came to the wedding. He wasn't sure if he was going to fall back into his old habits. It did happen a lot to people who were addicted to them. But for now, he was nice to hang out with. And he caused much less drama than someone else who was always on his case.

The wedding went perfectly, just as planned. The bridesmaids were all wearing gorgeous orange dresses that fell in layers down to their ankles. While the groomsmen had black suites with a blue cloth in their shirt pocket. The beginning seemed to drag on as they all waited for the time when the bride would finally come out. Even Nikita looked nervous. Valentino couldn't blame him. He'd be nervous too standing in front of a large audience like this as they watch you in the center of the stage.

But as soon as the pianist started playing their sweet tune, everyone turned to look at the bride coming down the aisle. She wore a beautiful gown, designed to look close to the traditional one from her home country. Her hair was done up in a bun that had been braided, with two strands of hair falling down to shape her face. With her bouquet in her hand, she walked next to her father who led her down the aisle. There was another behind her that was keeping the tail of her dress from snagging onto something. It was a gorgeous scene.

And Nikita was smiling the whole time, looking at her. It was probably the happiest he had seen the man.

The rest was really history. It was a lot of standing as the person marrying them off gave his speech about love and uniting. The whole time, Valentino wound up looking back to the crowd. It didn't take a long time for him to find his brother and Casimir. They were in the middle aisles, in the mix of the bored children and gossiping women. They waved at him quietly, but that was it. Other than that, he mostly kept looking at those eyes that always seemed to hold his attention.

"You may now kiss the bride!" the officiant announced. The two kissed and finally tied their lives together. He was sure they were going to be married for a long time, if not the rest of their lives. They were a perfect match, even in high school. He still didn't know how they did it.
