Author's Note: Hi guys! Welcome back to the City of Amor! To the ones who are new to this series, don't worry! This is a stand-a-lone story, and you aren't missing out on anything if you start this story first. I also took a lot of advice from you all to make this story better than the first one, too!
To all the old readers, welcome back! I'm glad to be back in action after spending what feels like forever just working on the beginnings of this book. I hope you enjoy this story, because I really enjoyed writing these first few chapters. This is story has a unique element to it that I think you'll all enjoy, too.
Without further ado, enjoy the first five chapters!

Amor, Florida was absolutely bustling this time of year. The weather was nice for once, as the humidity decided to lessen just for the time being. Everyone was outside with smiles on their faces, enjoying the beautiful weather.
It was Fall, or the closest thing to it. In Florida, that meant high hopes for cooler weather as the meteorologist spun the wheel of highs and lows for the week. Nothing was ever set in stone when it came to the weather there. But the snowbirds still came on down, desperate to avoid the freezing temperatures that their homes would get at in the following months. Florida didn't really have any snow when winter came, just lots of rain.
"Isn't it great, Benny?" Will took a breath of fresh air. "The weather's nice, the tourists are here, and the holidays are just around the bend! It's the perfect time for love!"
Love was their specialty, you see. They made sure that people found love that could last as long as possible. Sure, most don't work out for the rest of their lives. But that didn't mean that there wasn't a good match in the mix of all the bad ones. The kind of love that left you swept off your feet was always just around the corner. And it was their job to find it.
"Yeah," the blond frowned, his short hair moving ever so slightly with the breeze. "If we could actually find some love for our case."
The streets were packed with all kinds of different people. Some with layers on to protect them from the chill, while others dressed as if it was still summer. Out of all the interesting outfits and people that stood out in a crowd, though, no one ever noticed the two men in black suits. They even had a design on the sleeves with a pink bow and arrow on it.
They just got the uniforms with the updated designs on it, too.
"We'll find someone for him, Benny," the brunette assured him. "All it takes is a little bit of patience and a dash of luck."
"I'm pretty sure we used all our luck with the last case we were on."
"Ah," Will sighed and put his hand on his heart. "That was a fun one."
"We just barely got those two together," Benny said. "And we finally got out of the deep end with the boss, just to have another impossible case forced on us!"
Benny had been in danger of a demotion for a good majority of his career. After failing so many times, he got partnered with Will. And, when the two of them failed some more cases together, they decided to put them on some crazy case as a last chance for them to prove they're worthy of not getting demoted.
Somehow, some way, they were able to manage a good match that time. They got out of the danger zone of getting demoted. But it was still just as easy to get right back into it if they started failing again. All it took was one case, and they were toast.
But Will was always the optimist. He swore those caramel swirls in his eyes tinted his vision to always look at the bright side of everything that ever happened to them. How he could still be confident with all the failed cases that he had, Benny had no clue. That was a super power that only Will seemed to have.
