"They're such a strange couple," one cupid said, shaking his head as he watched the screen. "I swear, Will, you guys always find the weird ones."

"I don't think they're that strange Obasi," Will smiled. The party was in full swing with music, lights, and, of course, the screens around the room showing the new favorite couple of the cupids. They had been the talk of the town for a while already, but the conclusion to their case was truly what sealed the deal for them.

"They're already talking about marriage!" Obasi laughed in disbelief. He was a good friend of Will's, much like many other cupids in the department. They worked together quite a lot. "And Valentino never even wanted that in the first place."

"I don't think he never wanted to marry," Will argued. "I think he was just afraid of love in general. When we pinned him with Casimir he was fully committed."

That was why he wasn't surprised when Valentino and Casimir had that talk about marriage. Both of them were 'ride or die' people when it came to love. And if Valentino was willing to back Casimir up right after bailing him out of jail, that was a whole other depth to love that Will thought he'd ever see in a young couple. The two might not have understood each other at first, but they clicked together than anyone could imagine.

"That's not true!" Benny interrupted them, frowning a bit. "Valentino would have ended it on the second week if Casimir hadn't run after him and begged for another chance!"

Talk about a stressful time! The beginning to their relationship had Benny thinking he was going to somehow get a heart attack - and cupids can't even get those! It made the ending all the sweeter, but he wasn't going to let Will convince everyone that their case was a piece of cake either.

"There's no way he truly wanted to end their relationship, though," Will said. "Not when he let Casimir convince him so quickly. That should have been our first sign that they were going to turn out alright."

"I think he just didn't want to leave his brother alone," Akari said. "The both of them depended on each other quite a bit. Now that Lou is with someone, he must feel a bit of weight off his shoulders."

That was one thing that she had been contemplating. She had been watching the two brothers for quite a while before she found the right match for Lou. They were inseparable, glued together with an adhesive that was impossible to weaken. Even though they both had people that they were dating, she knew the two of them would always find time for each other.

"Do you guys always debate about relationships at parties?" Larry came over, putting his arms over Benny and Will's shoulder as he popped into the conversation. "Come on! This is supposed to be a celebration!"

"Typical Larry," Obasi rolled his eyes. "You're just too bored with all the Last Chance cases, aren't you?"

"Let's just say my clients would make horrible actors," Larry said. "We don't have to talk about work, though! We're supposed to be enjoying ourselves right now!"

"Some of us enjoy what we do," Obasi teased the man. Larry was fun to kick back with, and he wasn't as crazy as Will. He just liked messing with him from time to time.

"What do you think about Valentino and Casimir, Mr. Obasi?" Akari asked. He was one of the oldest cupids, therefore the wisest in the group. Even older than Will, he had done cases in every category. The only cases that could tarnish the man's record were the Last Chance cases. Will had bested him on that by being successful at one not too long ago.

He still loved to rub it in his face about it, too.

"I think they make a great movie!" Larry answered, nudging Obasi playfully.
