AHAANA

"Uncle please...please don't hit me......

Why are you shivering, are you afraid, little rat???

Ahanaa, go.

GOOOOO!"

I opened my eyes and sat up on the bed. Struggling to breathe, I noticed an oxygen mask over my face. I looked around. I was in a hospital room, but why am I here? I took off the mask and tried breathing deeply. I looked to my right side and saw Mitansh looking at me. He looked shocked. Without thinking twice I reached out and engulfed him in a hug and started crying. He didn't return my hug at first but slowly I felt his arms wrapped around me. He started to move his hand up and down. It felt like a Deja-vu, like this situation had already happened somewhere.

I closed my eyes and a short glimpse of flashbacks ran through my head. I was running. Panting. My feet were aching as I was not wearing any footwear. I was inside the campus, yes. Then I entered the garden. I felt something soft under my feet. The grass felt nice. Cold, yet soft. I fell on the grass, then.... Then what happened? It was a blackout. I was not able to see anything. Darkness, complete darkness. My hands were cold, my whole body was freezing. It was a cold morning. I was lying in the garden, unconscious, I don't know for how long. Which garden was that? Why was I even in a garden at that time? Secret.... It was Mitansh's secret garden. But, why was I there? Did I want to see Mitansh at that time? Was I longing for him? Did I expect him to be there?

Did he come? Yes, he did come. I was able to listen to his voice. The only thing which kept me hanging on the verge of end. He...

"...saved me." I whispered in his ears and his hands froze on my back. A sudden breath control. Was he shocked by my words? "You saved me, thank you." I said and hugged him tight. Tears of happiness left my eyes and I lost myself in his warmth. I was finally able to breathe properly, I was finally at peace.

"Ahaana.." His voice stayed in my ear before absorbing it.

"Hmm."

"I wanted you to meet someone." I felt the hesitation in his voice.

"Who?" At this time, I don't want to meet anyone. I wanted to stay here. Staying hugging him like this. Why did he want me to meet someone?

"You'll know." He kissed my forehead before breaking the hug. Strange heat ran through my body and my face started burning. His eyes never left mine. Slowly my eyes lowered and I saw his cheeks turn red. He suddenly looked elsewhere and I mirrored the same. What just happened here? My brain was not able to process the situation I was in.

"I- umm.." The area he planted his kiss became the focus point of my whole body. My skin was burning. What is this feeling?

"Ahaana..." My heart pumped and my eyes widened. This was a new voice. I haven't heard it before, but I felt that I already knew the person. My hands started shivering and I followed the voice to look for the face. A tall boy with rimmed spectacles and messy black hair was standing in front of my bed. His forehead was partially hidden from his hair. His eyes were a different color, little grayish or maybe honey brown, it was hard to notice because of his spectacles. He was wearing an olive denim jacket over a white plain sweatshirt and cargo pants. My eyes moved to look at his hands, his right hand in particular.

My whole body turned cold and I felt a punch in my gut.

The bracelet, the same yellow and blue coloured rubber bracelet which I made for.... Mehul.

I opened my mouth to say something, but there was nothing audible. I could feel my jaw moving, still a feeling chained my heart. A feeling of my lips being sealed. My eyes lingered back at the bracelet and my nightmares came standing in front of me. A clear sight. A glass-clear sight. A warzone of thoughts and delusion. It was unexpected!
