'I can't believe it! You're just my child.' Said Scarlett happily. 'You mean our child.' Colin corrected his wife. 'That's what I mean yes.' Laughed Scarlett, 'I can't believe it either. I'm so grateful to you.' Said Clara. Scarlett smiled. 'We're going to have a great time together. I can't wait to introduce you to Rose.'

'And I have a surprise for you too.' Said Colin. 'And that is? Curious, Scarlett and Clara looked at Colin. 'I've arranged for a private plane.' Told Colin. 'A private plane? With wide eyes, Clara looked at him. Colin nodded. 'All the plane was already fully booked and since this will be your first ever plane ride I thought it would be much more special if we could arrange a private jet.' Said Colin. 'Did you really arrange that for me?' Asked Clara. Colin nodded. 'Thank you so much! That's so sweet.' Felt Clara. 'It's just a little effort.' Said Colin.

'Shall we go then? I couldn't wait to get home.' Said Scarlett. Colin and Clara agreed and they walked to the car. Colin had come later with the car and had immediately taken his and Scarlett's suitcase.

'Shall I put your suitcase in the car?' Colin asked. 'Yes, is good.' Clara handed her suitcase to Colin. It wasn't very full but there were some clothes and precious things in it. For example, she had put her favorite stuffed toy in the suitcase and a reading book she had recently bought from her saved money.

They arrived at the car. Colin put the suitcase in the trunk and Scarlett and Clara sat down. 'Would you like a gum?' Scarlett asked, "Yes nice. Replied Clara. Scarlett gave her a gum and Clara put it in her mouth.

'How long is it approximately to drive to the airport?' Clara asked. 'An hour.' Replied Scarlett, 'Oh that's not too bad.' Said Clara. Colin got into the car and he got behind the wheel. 'Do we have everything? Asked Colin. 'If it's all right we do.' Said Scarlett, 'Say goodbye to the orphanage Clara. You'll never come back here.' Said Colin. Clara immediately got a big smile on her face.

'That idea alone made her very happy. Never to go to the orphanage again, never to see Mr. Smith again, never to see Diego again. Life suddenly looked a lot better. Three days ago she didn't dare dream about this and now it was just real.

She was glad she never had to see Mr. Smith again. During the signing of the papers he had been looking at her all the time and Clara didn't like it. Scarlett noticed it too and had given her an encouraging squeeze on her hand.

Clara was glad when everything was signed and they could go. She never wanted to think back to the time in the orphanage. She only wanted to look to the future.

After an hour of driving, they arrived at the airport. Colin parked the car in the parking lot. 'There's a lot of paparazzi.' Colin sighed. 'Just as well. I sincerely wonder how they always know where we are.' Replied Scarlett, 'Tell me about it.' From the glove box Colin grabbed a pair of sunglasses and handed them to Clara. 'Put those on. The flashes from the camera are going to hurt your eyes.' He gave her a wink.

Clara accepted the sunglasses and she put them on. She didn't want to walk past the paparazzi again. She was getting very nervous at the very idea. 'Clara, are you coming? We're going. Said Scarlett. She noticed that Clara was not there with her thoughts. 'Yes, I'm coming.' Replied Clara. She opened the car door and they got out of the car. Immediately she heard clicking of cameras.

She pretended not to see the photographers and she walked to the back of the car where Colin was already waiting with her suitcase. Scarlett joined them and she accepted her suitcase from Colin. Finally Colin grabbed his own suitcase and he clicked the car shut.

"That way. Scarlett pointed to the back entrance of the airport. They walked that way followed by the press. Fortunately all three had rolling suitcases so they soon arrived at the back entrance. "You okay? Scarlett asked Clara. Clara nodded. 'Sorry. I'm really annoyed that they keep following us.' Scarlett apologized.

'It's okay. You can't do anything about it.' Said Clara. She took off her sunglasses. 'You really don't mind?' Scarlett asked. Clara shook her head. 'I'm actually curious to see what all the tabloids have to say about me. They'll probably be speculating.' She chuckled. Scarlett and Colin shot up in laughter. 'We think so too.'
