Next time I'll go with you if I can.' Promised Clara. 'Will you go horseback riding then, too?' Rose asked. Clara shook her head. 'Absolutely not.'

'Why not? You might like it.' Said Rose. 'Horses are big and scary.' Felt Clara. 'Not at all. You're just a wimp.' Chuckled Rose. 'You're just a daredevil.' Said Clara.

'Girls, we're going to eat!' Called Colin. 'Are you coming?' Asked Rose. 'I'm not hungry.' Answered Clara. 'Very much so. I just heard your belly growling.' Noted Rose. Clara sighed. 'Sorry Rose, but I'm staying here.' Said she. 'I don't like it when you argue with mom and dad.' Said Rose softly.

'Me neither but some things they just don't understand.' Replied Clara. 'Okay. If there is food left I will bring it to you.' Said Rose. 'That's sweet of you. Now go soon because otherwise the food will get cold.' Said Clara. Rose nodded and she ran downstairs.

Clara looked after the girl. Rose had it so easy. No worries, nice friends, an easy life and she was also very smart. Clara sighed. Life just wasn't fair. Clara grabbed her laptop and she lay down on her bed. It was time again to continue watching Full House. She was now in season three and she liked the series more and more.

Clara watched the series and it conjured a small smile on her face. After an hour, there was a knock on her door and it immediately disturbed her mood. "Who is it? Clara asked. Instead of answering, the door opened. Scarlett walked into her room with a plate of food.

'I don't need to eat anything.' Clara Scarlett immediately. Scarlett closed the door behind her and she set the plate of food down on the desk. 'I know you're not hungry but you have to eat something.' Said Scarlett. She sat down on Clara's desk chair. 'I don't care. Can you please leave now? I'm busy.'

'With what? Asked Scarlett, "I'm watching Full House. Answered Clara. 'Seriously? I think we need to have a talk.' Said Scarlett, 'Why, you're the one acting stupid.' Said Clara. 'Right now you are.' Was Scarlett's opinion. Clara sighed and she pushed her laptop aside.

'Sorry I reacted so much to the news about you and Jack this afternoon. I'm just a little overprotective.' Said Scarlett, "A little? A little very much.' Clara corrected her. 'A little very much but can you blame me after everything that's happened? I don't want you to have so much pain and sorrow again.' Said Scarlett.

'I know you mean well. Sorry I reacted so violently.' Said Clara. 'It's all right, but next time be nicer to Colin. He means well.' Said Scarlett, 'I know. Is that one mad at me? Asked Clara. 'No he's not. He also understands that adolescents act like that.' Scarlett chuckled.

'Well, well, well. That has nothing to do with adolescents you know.' Said Clara indignantly. 'I'm just teasing you. Are you coming downstairs to eat or are you staying here?' Asked Scarlett, 'If you don't mind I'll stay here. My back hurts.' Said Clara. 'Shall I get an extra pillow for your back?' Worried, Scarlett looked at her.

'Gladly.' Replied Clara. Scarlett immediately walked out of the room to go get an extra pillow. After a few minutes, she walked back with two extra pillows. 'Sit up straight.' She commanded. Clara sat up wearily and Scarlett put down two extra pillows. 'Is this better this way?' She asked. Clara lowered herself again and she nodded. 'Much better. Thanks mom.

'You're welcome. Is there anything else I can do for you? She asked. 'No thanks.' Answered Clara. 'Okay. By the way, I called Mckenna her mother. They'll be here together tomorrow at two in the afternoon.' Narrated Scarlett, "Cozy. Immediately Clara got a smile on her face.

'Yes. Crystal asked if they could bring their little dog Gizmo. I said they could.' Replied Scarlett, 'Oeh nice! Gizmo really is a cutie.' Said Clara. 'I thought you were going to like that.' Smiled Scarlett. 'Do you think Rose could see Mckenna for a while, too?' Asked Clara. 'No idea. That really depends on how long Mckenna and Crystal stay.'

'Oh well then we'll see for ourselves. I'm going on with Full House now.' Said Clara. Scarlett smiled. 'Is totally fine. I'm going to put Rose to bed.' Scarlett walked out of the room and she closed the door behind her.
