With knees buckling, Clara stood in front of the school. It was one minute to eight. Clara looked around but there was no one to be seen yet. Maybe it wasn't a good idea after all and she would be better off going home. Clara wanted to walk away but out of nowhere two people approached her. Because of the darkness she couldn't see who they were. She took a step back.

'Hello Clara.' The shapes came closer and Clara was startled when she recognized the persons. 'You are the stalkers? With open mouth she looked at the persons. 'No. I am your stalker.' One of the persons took a step forward. It was Emily.

'What? Clara couldn't believe it. Emily was the one who had been scaring her for months. All these months she had been afraid of Emily. 'Why? Clara asked softly. She looked at the girl hurt. 'Because you deserve it.' She snarled. 'What, I haven't done anything to you.' Exclaimed Clara in surprise. 'Not me no but other people did.' Said Emily.

Clara didn't understand a thing. What was she talking about. 'Don't look so sanctimonious. You know what I'm talking about.' Snapped Emily at her. Clara looked at Sarah but she didn't move a muscle. 'I don't know what you're talking about.' Said Clara. 'You do know.' Emily walked over to her and she gave Clara a shove. Clara lost her balance and she fell backwards onto the floor.

'You know best what I'm talking about. I think the name Diego you know all too well.' Emily grinned viciously. "Diego? Clara turned pale. Diego was the boy who gave her nightmares for years when she still lived at the orphanage. 'Is he here? Asked Clara stuttering.

'No, don't worry. That one is still in the orphanage in London. The orphanage you're supposed to be in too.' She looked at Clara meanly. 'It's actually a funny story how I met Diego. We were chatting together on an anonymous dating website and he couldn't stop talking about some girl who snatched happiness right from under his nose. He was so upset.'

'She was allowed to live with the famous actress Scarlett Johansson, in a beautiful villa and she would get everything her heart desires. She now gets everything Diego has always longed for. When he told me that, I knew immediately that it was about you. Diego deserves this life. Not you. Exclaimed Emily in frustration.

A tear ran down Clara's cheek. She had to stay strong now. Diego didn't deserve this life and by the way he was acting right now he certainly didn't. Clara repeated the sentence in her head. If she gave in now it would only get worse. She stood up but immediately she received a kick in the gut from Sarah. 'Stay seated.' She hissed. 'It's your own fault Clara. You shouldn't have come.'

Emily started punching and kicking her and Sarah was also going at it vigorously. Clara tried to get away but everything hurt. She couldn't do anything but allow it.

'Stop! There were shouts from a distance. 'Shit.' Emily and Sarah looked up. 'We have to leave.' Hissed Emily. She pulled Sarah with her and quickly the two girls took off. Clara was left alone. She was lying on the cold ground. 'This is where you stay.' Called the man still but Sarah and Emily ran as fast as they could.

'Chris, it's Clara.' Called Scarlett. She pointed to the girl on the ground. They ran towards the girl. 'Clara, do you hear me? Clara? Scarlett got down on her knees. Concerned, she looked at the girl and gently slapped Clara's cheeks. Clara had closed her eyes and she was not responding to anything. 'I'm going to call an ambulance.' Decided Elizabeth. 'I'm going to grab a blanket from my car. She's bleeding all over.' Chris pointed to Clara's nose and knee.

Scarlett pulled Clara against her. 'I'm so sorry baby. I should have been there for you.' She sobbed. 'I'm with you now.' She pressed Clara tightly against her. 'The ambulance is coming.' Said Elizabeth. Chris came running with a blanket and he put it over Clara and Scarlett.

Less than twenty seconds later the ambulance arrived. 'Out of the way.' Shouted an employee of the ambulance. Reluctantly, Scarlett allowed herself to be dragged along by Chris. She couldn't face it. Her little girl covered in blood. She buried her head in Chris's coat.

'Where's Clara? What happened? Jack came biking up. He was completely out of breath. 'I'll take him aside.' Said Elizabeth looking at Chris who was trying to comfort Scarlett. Chris nodded and Elizabeth took the boy aside and she explained how they had found Clara. Jack couldn't believe his ears. Who had done this to her?
